Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I heard stories of Demons attacks and haunting. This isn’t one of those. This is my one and only experience. Whether this was the real deal or a figment of my imaginations I can’t give you a definite answer. Oh I apologize for any misspelling or grammatical errors.

Well first let me set the back story. My half-sister and I would staying with my Step Dad (my sister’s dad) and his new girlfriend (my mother and step father had been separated for over a year now) every now and then. This particular time a family was staying at their house (A couple with a son about my age, 11 or 12 yrs. old.)They had recently lost their house. The way the house is set up is you have the living room which leads to the den. This was where the family’s son and i was sleeping.

Now, this happen either Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas of 1997. I’m horrible with time frames. After a long day of riding bikes, and then watching movies we decide to get ready to sleep, turning off the TV and lights. I took the recliner and he slept on the floor. As we laid there we started to tell scary stories. The room was pretty much pitch black. We decide to stop the stories and hit the hay. As we did so, we see a shadowy figure that looked like an angel. Wings and all. It moved from the left side of the wall, the wall facing us to the right side of the wall. Arms reached about as if it was holding somebody in its arms.

It was moving so slow, the shadow was so clear. There was no way to have mistaken it. Still, at first thought it was my mind playing tricks on me, until i asked my friend if he sees, “that.” He said “yes.” At that point I jumped off the couch and lay next to him as we covered under his blanket. We decided to check if it was still there, a couple minutes after hiding. It disappeared. We brought it up briefly the next day, but decided to not bring it up any more. Till this day i still think about it and wonder if it was the real thing or my imagination. Unfortunately the fact that my friend seen it also never allowed me to forget it.

I don’t believe in ghosts (the dead soul returning), but Angels and demons, I do. If it was in fact real, don’t believe it to be an angel due to the fact of my beliefs and study of the bible. So it would be the demons… Well that’s my experience.
