Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

When I was younger my best friend’s brother committed suicide. My friend was over one day and he was telling me about some weird things going on in his house that he assumed was just the ghost of his brother. His brother used to like to play a lot of jokes and he was a goofy, friendly guy so it was in his nature to play a cruel joke on people just to get a kick out of their reaction.

Anyway, after my friend finished telling me what was going on, an old toy of mine turned on by itself. My friend and I looked at each other and I laughed and he very seriously stated it was his brother, but I didn’t believe him.

So just last week, another friend of mine decided to visit the cemetery of my friend’s dead brother with a Ouija board just to see if we could get it working. We went at nighttime so nobody was around and we started asking questions. We asked if the spirit of my friend’s brother was here. We got no response from the board, but we heard a loud bang not too far from the car. Now mind you it could have just been an animal, but it just seems like more than a coincidence that the noise would happen right when we asked if the spirit was here. And also keep in mind that this guy likes to play tricks. So we kept trying to get the board working again and we kept getting weird answers. We asked who we were speaking to and we got the answer “hi hi”. We asked how the spirit died and it asked “why” After a while we finally decided to leave.

My friend took one last drive through the cemetery before we left. We had all of the windows rolled up and right when we passed my friend’s brother’s grave I felt a really light tug on the bottom of my hair. It was so light I thought maybe it was all in my head so I didn’t say anything. Right when we were about to pull out of the cemetery we heard someone whisper right between us “hey”. As soon as we heard it we both looked at each other with wide eyes. It was strange that we both heard the exact same thing so we knew we weren’t making it up.

I don’t know if it was the ghost of my friend’s brother just trying to get a good laugh, or just an overactive imagination.
