ZoZo Tried to Kill Us

My friends nicknamed me ZoZo about three years ago when I was in 6th grade. Then I thought it was a cool name. Now I think it’s horrible.

See, I didn’t do Ouija when I was 11. I did witch craft, Hoodoo, and Voodoo, but not a Ouija board. My friends told me about it last year, so I thought, why not! I loved it, I got many names. But then one came up. “What’s your name?” Z-O-Z-O. Our jaws dropped! I exclaimed how my nickname was ZoZo and I thought it was really cool.

He seemed like a cool guy at first, but then he got mean and started cussing out my friend Ema, and something got thrown at Ema’s mom and our other friend Daliah. I took over the eye and told him to stop! That we didn’t do anything to him so stop being a jerk! Then he went to Goodbye. We decided to stop for the …

Stay Away From Ouija Boards

Everyone stay away from Ouija Boards! I played around with one when I was 22 years old, two years ago. I have never written my story and the people I told did not believe me. So now I just keep it to myself.

I was visiting some friends and playing with the board. It was the first time it was working for me. We were drinking and talking to it all night long. It was telling us a lot of true things that no one would know. You could literally feel the energy under the shot glass, you could tell it wasn’t us moving it. It told us it was a child around 12 that was stuck in between worlds. He had committed suicide. His life was a mixture of my friends and my life. Which we did not notice until later and it made us relate to this thing more.

After being awake and drinking almost all the booze …

Ouija Boards and Unfocused Attempts

I’ve used Ouija boards a number of times. They’re really just pieces of wood (or cheaper materials). It’s not the Ouija board that actually does anything, it’s the intent of the people using it.

In any case, such unfocused attempts to “contact the beyond.” (ha ha!) tend to result in:

1: nothing
2: people scaring their friends and themselves out of hysteria or prankishness
3: people’s subconscious minds playing tricks on them
4: possibly contact with whatever random critter is out there, who might claim to be Satan, John F. Kennedy, an alien ghost, or whatever else amuses them (or which they think they are in response to one’s desires)

Generally, when you start having extreme experiences with a Ouija board, it’s not because anything external is happening – it’s because you’ve created a huge internal mythology about what you expect to happen, or fear could happen.

As for responding to things with Religiosity, (as opposed to faith), here’s what …

Vanquishing Evil Spirits

This was originally a post but I figured there is a lot of useful information in this post that a lot of people could use. So here it is. My life story. This is a true story.

Listen, all of you, DO NOT USE THE OUIJA BOARD. They are pure evil. I used to use them all the time in high school, they always told me of future events such as my aunt dieing, my high school crush asking me out etc. etc. all of which came true at the exact moment they stated it would. Ever since I started using the Ouija board I have woken up in cold sweats, my bed would begin shaking violently with me in it even breathe on occasion, I also had countless close brushes with death, and quite often I would wake up in the middle of the night with something trying to possess me, I could feel my entire body go numb …

Drama Club and the Ouija Board

Seven years ago I was in a small town Junior High Drama Club. The weekend before our performance we decided to stay the night at one of the girls’ houses to practice our lines and hang out. (No boys were in our Drama Club: small town) Before I begin to tell about the events of that horrible night I must first tell you about the house.

Dee Dee’s mom, (I’m changing the names) had a fascination with ghosts. She had weird paintings on the wall and every thing. She also had the little Hallmark Villages set up all around her living room. They were strange. Dee Dee never said anything about her house being haunted or evil though. And it didn’t feel haunted when I first entered the house. I would soon find out how very wrong I was.

We started out practicing our lines in her Basement/Garage. We soon got bored however and started telling ghost stories. I really …

My Own Ouija Board Experience

I have never wrote about this before but as I was going through reading stories, I decided to finally tell my experience.

About 5 years ago in 2004, I moved into a new apartment by myself in Atlanta. A girlfriend of mine, Shelicia who lived in Washington, D.C. decided to make the trip down so that we could celebrate my newly “single” status since I had just broke up with my boyfriend. Her best friend Lana, whom I had never met before happened to be in Atlanta for a convention as well that weekend. While I was at work the first day that Shelicia was there, she nicely unpacked all of my boxes for me and put everything away. A couple hours after I came home from work, Lana came by to visit. It was my first time meeting her and she was very bubbly and nice.

About ten minutes after Lana arrived, Shelicia brought up the fact that while …

Evil Spirit From a Ouija Board

Hello, I felt like sharing my detailed story. My name is Ross, I am currently 23. I grew up in a small town in North Dakota. As a child I had a fascination with ghosts. It wasn’t until I was 14 I had experienced my first %100 sure ghost, which was before I discovered Ouija. When I heard about Ouija from my friend Amanda at the age of 15, I was already a full believer.

My friend Amanda (who was about 6 years older than me) said when she was younger she and a friend used the Ouija board and it always worked. So I told her I would come over with a friend and she would show us how to use it. But my friend and I, everyone nick named him “Hammer” because he was always hammered, got a piece of cardboard, a marker, a case of beer, and drove over to Amanda’s house.

We got there and Amanda …

Ouija Board Party Gone Wrong

Well last year my friends and I were into paranormal (Ouija, etc). Missy decided to have a Ouija party at her house. She had banners up and everything. We made a homemade Ouija board and I had explained the rules (like not to ask when you’re going to die, not to upset the spirits, etc) and we started.

We met a spirit named “Tyler” and had a huge crush on my friend missy. He kept pleading for help from us and we didn’t know what he wanted help with. He finally replied with “getting Missy to love me!” He started to make an 8 figure so I stopped him from making it.

He whipped the planchette around telling us we needed to help or he’d kill Missy’s dog. All of a sudden her dog started barking wildly at the board and growling. This made us all jump. He kept whipping the planchette faster and faster telling us to take our …

Ouija Spirit Possession?

I am a pretty skeptical person, but definitely have belief in the afterlife. I have had a few paranormal experiences in my life which have cemented that belief. This is one of them…

My sophomore year in high school I joined drama as a class elective, along with a few friends. It was a very large school (1400 students in my graduating class) and drama was one of the few electives that mixed the grades, so we often had upper and lower classmen in the same drama periods. As a result, my friends and I, being lower-classmen were not all that popular, so we tended to stick together.

One lunch period one of the juniors offered to have my friend and I hang out with them in the drama room. We grabbed our lunch and hurried over to the room, very excited that they wanted to hang out with us.

When we got there the entire group was hanging out …

Night Terror or Demon Possession?

My name is Allan, and I’m 19 living in UK West Midlands.

Back in February, I made my own Ouija board on a wooden board and carved out the letters. I haven’t used it yet because I can’t find anybody to do it with me. So its in my wardrobe at the bottom of my bed.

When I made it, I took photos of it on my mobile. When I edited the photos, I put it on negative so it was blue and black, and when zooming in there is clearly a demon’s face, but it looks more like the devil with horns. I have lost the picture now.

A few months ago, I was asleep… it was about 4 in the morning when I suddenly got an image flash in my eyes (while I was asleep). It was some sort of creature. When I saw this, I woke up and was like having a fit. I was grabbing hold …

Online Ouija Board Outcome

Hi friends I am new to the site, by reading your stories I understand that you people are conveying your true experiences about the unknown, so I decided to share my experience with you all. This is my first time in writing an online story so don’t forget to comment and give feedback thank you. I am delivering this story to tell that even an online Ouija Board will make you get into trouble. So don’t play with any form of spirit board please.

Like everyone I don’t need to tell that my story is true ok. This happened in the start of this year, yes January 2009. Most of you have an experience with the witch board. I also wanted to play with one, and I had played it nothing happened. Despite all I have god and I consider him as my best friend and I confessed everything to him (this doesn’t mean that I am seeing god and …

The Truth about Ouija Boards

Do you believe Ouija boards are evil? Should they be banned from the general public? A history and belief have been told about them for generations. But there’s one problem – it’s a toy, made from cardboard and plastic. It is mass produced by Parker Brothers, the same people that makes Clue and Monopoly. Parker Bros. is a corporation like any other and have no discernable evil intentions. So why is there such a controversy about them in the paranormal and spiritual fields?

Let’s look back into the proposed history of the Ouija board. One belief that is said to be the forerunner to the Ouija board is Fuji. Fuji is the divination method in which Chinese characters are drawn in sand or incense ashes. But this is not Ouija, this is a form of spirit writing, with no board. Not Ouija. Another proposed precursor is, according to a Greek historical account of the philosopher Pythagoras, in 540 B.C. his …
