Casper My Imaginary Friend

Posted on March 20, 2009

When I was 3 years old by aunt bought a grandfather clock and the day she bought it my “imaginary” friend Casper showed up. He was 7 years old, had straw blonde hair, wore denim overalls, a white tee-shirt and red converse shoes. He changed the channels from court TV to cartoons for me and banged the cupboard doors when the cats were hungry, He scared my aunt, grandma, dad, and mother – all except me.

I giggled at his antics and loved to play with him. Then one day my aunt brought in a median. Without telling the woman that I saw him and what he looked like she described him perfectly.

Then a month later my aunt’s girlfriend moved out she took the clock with her. Casper left with the clock.

Still 10 years later, I’ll be out with my friends out walking around and then I’ll see an old lady or a little kid and stop to say hello and my friends will ask who I was talking to or I’ll look at them for a little while and I’ll grab my friend Jessie’s attention and I’ll say, “That old lady is really freaking me out” and turn and look and the old lady will be gone.

I’m no longer scared just weirded out. I don’t go to church, and I’m not really religious, actually the most religious thing I’ve done is wear a wooden cross on an old string. I’ll see demons sometimes in the darkest places, things that would terrify anyone but I face them and smile then turn away. They don’t scare you much when you see them everyday.

Well…anything won’t be scary if you get used to it.
I’m fortunately someone whose not all to familiar with demon experiences (save for several very intimate ones) so i can’t comment on a personal level, but Summer…you seem like a headstrong, brave person so i’m not surprised.

I think so long as you are true and believe in god demons can’t hurt you.
