My friend and I go every other day to her old house that her dad still owns because he lives in London and he comes up every other weekend but he asks us to check on the house for him.
There is only her dad and her who have keys to the house. So people can’t get in when he’s in London, just us two. For about 3 months now we have been hearing noises coming from the 1st floor landing, but when we go up to check if there’s anything there its totally empty.
We just cant explain it. Then we started seeing shadowed figures walking across the landing past the window. So we go up to see if anyone is in the house but yet again there is nothing there.
We wondered if it was just a trick of the light but the sighting and noises recently have become more frequent and we just cant explain them. Then today 28/8/07 we sat in the back yard to sunbathe and we had full view of the landing window. We kept on seeing a ghostly figure of a young boy walking across the landing window but we couldn’t explain what we were seeing.
Our friend who used to live next door said that she used to here noises coming from the house even though no-one was there. These experiences have really freaked us out but we didn’t know what to do about it so we wrote to you to see if you can help explain these weird going ons.

Old houses standing empty usually become haunted after awhile. If the owners don’t wana live there, then why not sell the place or let people rent it?

I hope you come back and read this post. What you need to do is set up a tape recorder and a camera both (more than one if you can) to try to catch the evidence of what is haunting the house… is there a paranormal investigation team in your state? IF anyone moves in to that house you will need to advise them of the possibilty of activity they could anticipate and i would have a house blessing down before they move in as well.. fascinating story! Maybe something happened there that you could probably research online. Also I think you should just ignore it, I mean it’s not like he’s doin anything to hurt anybody am I right? Maybe he’s just another one of those souls that never got put to rest.
