Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

First off, I have had many experiences with the paranormal.  My sister and I both have been called “super-sensitive”  It’s not a bad thing, I have the ghosts of a friend and some family members that always watch over me, but it can be really scary.  Sometimes at night I can hear whispers and laughs.  I live alone.  I constantly see things others can’t. It’s not always fun and I get called a loony all the time, but I assure you, I am completely sane.

Anyway, my first paranormal experience happened when I was 7.  My Grandfather collects Porcelain Dolls.  Weird hobby for a guy, I know, but he loves them.  Has ROOMS full of them.  One night my cousin Makayla and I were spending the night with my grandparents.  Of course we had to sleep in one of the “Doll Bedrooms”  We stayed up really late watching cartoons and nick at night and stuff like that.  We finally decided to go to sleep so we turned out the lights and got under the covers.  I told Makayla goodnight and she didn’t answer me, so I looked at her.  She was looking up at the doll shelves, terrified so I turned to see what was so scary.  All the dolls faces had turned  TOWARD US.  We screamed and ran down the hall to our grandparent’s room.

My grandmother calmed us down enough to get the story out of us.  She told us it was all a dream and took us back to the room, but she stopped when we got to the door because all the faces were facing the door now.  She got angry and said we did it just to scare her.  She got so mad that she sent us home first thing in the morning.

When I got older around 12 or 13 I was hanging out with some friends at a party at my friends house out on the mountain.  About a month earlier a man had been found dead in a ditch about a mile up the road and my friend said since then, there had been sightings of a tall black figure with glowing eyes all over the mountain.  Only a couple of us believed her.  That pissed her off so she decided that she was going to take her sleepover outside.

We set up a couple of tens and left the window flaps open.  About 4:30 a.m. one of the “non-believers” heard a noise outside of the tent and sat up to look out toward the trees that started about 5 yards off.  She said she saw the figure off a man with glowing eyes coming out of the trees.  She woke up the rest of us in the tent so we could see him too.  We used our walkie talkie to wake up everyone else.  We all saw him that morning and He is still seen to this day.

Another one that happened to me was when I was 16.  I had some friends over and we were down by a pond on the property.  My friend was laying there on her back on the ground when she out of nowhere asked me if I was expecting anyone else over.  I said I wasn’t and she sat up and said “Then who is that?” looking up toward the road.  I looked and there was what looked like a man walking toward us.  I said it was probably a neighbor coming to check on us (my parents always made sure someone kept an eye on us if they were gone) we would wait until he got under the street light to see who it was.  Well, when He got under the street light, he remained just a black figure.  So we took off toward my house, and bolted the door when we got there.

We sat on the couch all holding hands and praying, when the thing came through the door.  At this point the only thing I can think to do is yell for my grandfather, who had died 2 years earlier.  Two more figures came out of my parents room which was just to the right of the living room.  I immediately knew that it was my grandfather and my great uncle who had died in a car wreck some 20 years earlier. They chased the other one away, and I haven’t seen it since.

I swear to you that everything in these stories are completely true.
