Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I had this experience when I was 10 years old. Now I am 14, but I think it still happens. The story is as follows…

We had to move out of our rented house and there was no vacant room in nearby hotels. As we (my family) were searching for accommodation, we came upon an old house where rooms where available. The owner of the house was a old lady. She looked weird.

That night when we where sleeping peacefully in our room which was a kind of spooky,dusty and dirty. I woke up from sleep. Looking at the clock I saw that it was 12:00. Although I don’t believe in ghosts this scarred the wits out of me. What I saw was that the curtain windows were moving. Not only that the windows were closed. I thought I was dreaming but it was true. I reported this to my parents but they did not believe me.

This happened almost every consecutive nights. Once when I switched on the lights to check I saw someone hiding behind the curtain.

Next evening when I was playing in the garden with my little sister, I saw a person suddenly appear out of the blue. We saw him floating above the ground. My sister now started believing me. We reported the incident to the old lady but she said these things were always happening in the household. I couldn’t believe my ears nor my eyes.

One night we heard footsteps on the roof. We asked the old lady who lived there. She told us that it was her husbands room who was dead 5 years ago.

This noise became frequent even at day time. So I myself went upstairs to have a look. I saw that the door was opened. I went in the room felt like someone was staying there. Suddenly there was a gust of wind and I fell down. I saw the old man or his ghost. He was floating in mid air. Behind him was a black cat. It had big canines and it looked hungry. Both the figures were smoky. The cat jumped upon me and pinned me down to the floor. It opened it’s mouth… at that time I screamed, “Heeeeelllllppp” and fainted of fright.

When I opened my eyes I saw my parents looking down at me. I told them everything that had happened. That same evening my sister told me she had seen big humans in the garden. Probably ghouls I thought. I begged my parents to leave this house. Finally they agreed to leave tomorrow.

That night it was raining heavily. We heard screams out of the window. When my father checked he was shocked he stood there standstill. He later told us he saw something like a vampire. Then there was a tapping on the door. We were to scared to open it.  We sat gaping at it. After a moment our hearts almost stopped beating. The door opened slightly and there was no one behind it. Then it again closed. There was no wind as we had closed the windows. It was 1:30 in the morning when we went to sleep.

Next morning when we went down to have dinner, on the staircase we saw some smoke. When we went nearer it began to take shape. It was like a human figure. It disappeared within seconds.

When we were packing ready to leave we found my dads mobile missing. After a long search we found it in the garden. But it was damaged. Someone had tried to chew it. As I picked I  the phone,I heard a hissing sound nearby. I saw a tail of a snake a giant snake. I ran from the garden. My dad was amazed how it ever reached there. Soon we left that place and I was happy.

This was a true experience even though you might not believe me.
