Hi Everyone! This is a story about my life and all the paranormal activity I have experienced. I am 12 years old (young I know) and I believe that I have a powerful connection to the spiritual world. There is a slight history of this in my family but I think I am the first to realize and pursue it.
Anyway, I have had many experiences that I have learned to live with but I am definitely scarred for life. Call me crazy but nobody will ever know what I’ve gone through. It all started when I was very young. I would be lying in bed sound asleep and wake up screaming. I’d sit in the corner of my bedroom feeling isolated. I felt like someone, or something, was attacking me.
My mother slept on the other side of our house so she didn’t hear me. I would sit there all night until someone came to check on me and found me in this state. I can not explain this still but I believe that it may have had something to do with spirits.
I have had many other bone chilling experiences since then. Sometimes alone, others with my old friends who never came back to my house ever again.
One of my friends in particular has had too many experiences to count. Another friend has only had one but it was a terrifying night. She was visiting with her grandparents from North Carolina. We became friends and we decided to have a sleepover one night. We were sleeping up in my attic (my sisters old room which had been refinished). We had brought a TV up and were relaxing and talking about boys and all the usual girl stuff.
We had a favorite band and we started talking about how they smoked and drank and all but as soon as we started talking about them, we smelled a strong essence of smoke. We ran downstairs only to find everyone asleep and nothing going on. We went back upstairs and continued our night.
We sat up for a few more minutes talking and we were silent for just a moment. As soon as we stopped talking, we both felt stabbing, her in her stomach area, and myself in my back. We also had a body pillow lying flat on the floor and we had noticed kind of a body shaped indent on it. But then when we felt the stabbing, it arose as if someone was climbing out of bed.
Then we saw a strange dark figure walk across the attic and as it went past the lights, they got darker when it was in front of them. It walked down the stairs into my mothers room. And when it left, the pain stopped, the heaviness in the room disappeared and everything was normal.
We slept soundly that night but awoke the next morning to tell the terrifying story. And of course nobody believed us, but we know what went on in that attic on that night. I never returned to that attic again. And every night when I go to bed, I always hear loud cracking in the ceiling and I’m the only one who knows why!
I did leave out some of the details because I didn’t want to ramble on and on but I tried to make it interesting, I hope you believe me, and I hope you enjoyed it!

Try to stop yourself getting more curious about the spiritual world and definately leave ouija boards alone. You’re only very young, i have an 11 year old and a 28 yr old. My youngest would never get involved with the spirit world willingly as she knows the affect it has had on me. I had a horrible experience through curiosity.
Just remember, try not to feel as though it is glamorous to be psychic, it is not a gift as they say, to be able to contact the dead, it could be the bane of your life if you are not carefull. It is asking for trouble to pursue it, trust me on this. And to top it off, contacting spirits who you believe are telling you the truth are probably lying to you. You have had proof that there is something else out there and that is all you need.

Hey, it’s me again
I just wanted to add that i also lost my husband during my paranormal times. Having negative vibes and energy around you all the time (which you will attract if you pursue the spirit world) is not attractive and non-psychic people can also pick up on this and they soon disapear as the fascination they once had in your ability disapears also.
Don’t listen to any so called psychics, or people who claim to ‘know it all’ who tell you any different as i have experienced the spirit world and i promise you it is negative, i am only trying to help you. Without sounding like a Bible basher which i am NOT, i do now believe (not only believe, know exists) in God as praying helped me greatly when i was in trouble during a paranoral experience. I have no doubt i wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my prayer.
I had a friend who’s brother died at 29 yrs because of him and his girlfriend being so heavily involved in the paranormal.
If anyone comments further and tells you it’s OK to pursue the paranormal, then don’t believe them because they DO NOT know what they’re talking about.
If some people comment on say a lovely experience where they were visited by their loved ones, then that’s great, but i bet they hadn’t been dabbling with the paranormal, the experience just happened and that’s how it should be.
I’ve said this before, but i wouldn’t have anything to do with (other than read about it) the paranormal, not for 10 million pounds.

Don’t continue getting curious. It is an obvious they don’t want you near them. Please, I do know what it is like to be attacked by a ghost {note my story Two Girls and A Ghost, under Ghost and Hauntings} but I am a huge Vibe person, my vibes freaked out when I read your story. I felt watched, I felt someone approching and someone very very angry and bitter. I still feel that being on your story page. I beg you, throught my 16 years, I have never been wrong on vibes, I beg you to stop going in that attic and don’t even try to contact or get near a ghost in that house.

And, I agree 100% with Jackie, don’t and not all phycics are real, there are very few good ones, so don’t even bother with them. Trust me, I got that advice from my friend Naley, she is phycic and trust me, I tested her, and she has always been right, but she even says, don’t mess with spirts they will only become angry

Emma, be careful not to get involved into paranormal situations. I am 100% with Jackie on this. People find it a bragging right to say “I can contact the spiritual world.” You can ruin your life by getting involved with anything paranormal. You would think “oh my house is haunted but the ghost is nice,” but you never know. Like Jackie said, situations like this have killed people and/or close friends. Just live your own life while spirits live their own. Please, please take these comments seriously and disagreeing can put you in serious trouble. Thank you for sharing your story, and hopefully people understand your pain and read these comments.
Emma, don’t suppose you could tell us how you are thinking about this now, as others, especially Stephanie, Olivia and myself are concerned. You may wonder why, but i think it is because of your age. People come out all protective when children are an issue (even if you don’t know them), it’s like when you read a newspaper story about bad things happening to children – you just do care.
I’d just like to say that the comment i made above about my friend’s brother dying at such an early age, could be argued that it could have resulted in anything, but the reason we thought it was due to the paranormal was because he was pursued by an angry spirit who claimed she loved him. This went on for years and he would often tell his sister about it, even though he was quite a private person. The most bizarre thing is that he only got involved with the paranormal was after his dad had bought a ouija board which he believed was just a bit of fun. His dad ended up throwing it away during a session where he was watching his young children play with it and doubted it was really working. He said to his children, ‘ask them what Navvy means’ (gosh! just got shivers down my spine). The board then spelt ‘labourer’. Their dad then chucked the board away. Too damn late that led to a lifetime of the brother being involved in the paranormal.
i am only 10 years old and i am a medium. i do know what it is like i have been through things 10 times worse then your story since i was 3 till now. i wish you luck for the future. p.s you should move house or somethin

I am 12 years old also. I love to read ghost stories and I love this site. That must of been a very scary experience. I never heard or seen a ghost, and I don’t plan to. At least not at a very young age!
