To start off, these stories are real. Since I was little, I have had different experiences with spirits, but I can't share them with anyone I know, because they are skeptics. Here goes.
I began having paranormal experiences when my grandfather passed away from leukemia. It all happened so fast, he died a year and half after he was diagnosed. I was nine at the time. After he passed away, I felt an eerie presence all the time and I still do to this very day.
Not long after this, my neighbor, who lives in front of us, told me that he saw the outline of a man walking in front of our house from time to time. Since he is a ghost believer, he has done a lot of paranormal investigation, and has told me that he senses an aura from me that might attract spirits.
Anyway, this happened to my dad, on New Year's eve, roughly a year after my grandfather died, my dad came home from my maternal grandparent's huge apartment (it's not to be stuck up or anything, it's because maybe 15 people were staying there) around 10:00 P.M., since he never really enjoys celebrating anything. He went to sleep, alone, because my mom stayed over, and he drifted to sleep.
He suddenly woke up, and he felt very cold. Just so you know, I live on a tropical island and it's always hot, even in the winter. That night it was 81 degrees outside, and since my dad sweats for any possible reason, it hard for him to get cold. But also, because, I'm sorry Dad, he is a cheapskate, he barely uses the a.c. He was startled, he rolled on his side and tried to drift to sleep.
All of a sudden, he heard the door open wide and then close (he sleeps with the door shut, because I have always go to sleep really late) then he started getting scared, and then he felt the presence of grandfather, accompanied by a new wave of cold. He said out loud "Papi, no te preocupes, que Mami, Kiki y Reneé estan bien. Te puedes ir en paz" which is Spanish for "Dad, don't worry Mom (my grandmother), Kiki (my uncle named after my grandfather; Fransisco, who lives with my grandmother, and was an alcoholic at the time) and Reneé (my other uncle, who also lived with my grandmother) are fine. You can leave in peace. After that, the cold left and my neighbor never saw that shadow again.
Another thing that happened to me. When I turned fifteen, usually, we throw a big party, like a sweet sixteen party, but my parents and I made a deal that instead of that, I was going to get really cool gifts.
on December 15 2006, two days after my birthday, my family and I went to my favorite
Italian restaurant and celebrated my birthday. The gift that I was most wishing was a good digital camera, since I was getting into my new hobby, photography and also in particularly, I had been since forever planning a ghost hunt, and I wanted to take ghost pictures. My dream came true, and I got a Casio 7.2 Mega pixel Exilim EX-Z70 camera.
On December 28 me and my family went to a fancy restaurant (it was the WORST restaurant I have EVER been to) to celebrate my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. After that, we went back to my grandparents home and took the traditional family picture. This time, it went a little differently than normal. I usually stand behind my grandfather for these kinds of pictures, but for some reason, I wasn't. We took the pics and went along with the rest.
Later, on January 2, we went to a cathedral, and I started taking pictures, left and went on with my day. Later, I went back home, and uploaded the pictures from my camera. Looking through them, I noticed a blue orb on my younger cousin's shoulder, on our family photo, floating somewhere where I would have normally stood. My uncle took another photo earlier, not a minute before this one, and nothing was there. Scrolling a few pictures down, I realize that one of the pictures that I took that day at the cathedral has the same blue orb in it!! How can I explain that? With a brand new camera. And it can't be from the flash, because both pictures were taken from afar, and the flash isn't too strong.
