Jessica, My Great Great Great Aunt's Ghost

Ok I've never really believed in ghosts until, one day when we had a family get together. It was me, my mom, my grandmother, Nora (my cuz), and my aunt Suzie. We were telling ghost stories.

My favorite one goes like this: I was only about 5 when it happened, we used to live in an apartment in Austin. The apartments were supposed to be haunted. Well, the whole time we lived there nothing happened to me personally but everything happened to my mom. She said she had been cooking rice on the stove in the kitchen.

As you walk in to the apartment in the living room then if you go straight it's the kitchen. If you turn right you're in the hallway. Go straight first door on the left was the bathroom, as you continue to go down the hallway the next room on the left was my room. Ok, like I said earlier nothing ever happened to me while I lived there but this was supposed to be the most "active" room in the whole apartment, then the last room was my parents.

Any way back to the story, she had been cooking on the stove when she heard giggling. As she turned around she said she saw a little girl, and at the time it looked like me, go under the table. She said "Tiffany get out from under the table". I remember her calling my name and getting up to go see what she had wanted. She asked me if I was just under the table and I told her no that I had been watching cartoons in my room.

So every now and again she said she would see this little girl. But as the year went on she would start to she her more often and things would go missing and she would wake up with scratches on her body. As the time went by she got tired of these attacks and so one day she decide we were moving.

So we moved and everything was ok for a while 'til what ever it was started to attack me. I was laying on my bed when I heard a voice, it said, "HI IM JESSICA". Now it was late and I wrote it off as me being tired and hearing things, but after a while I started waking up with scratches on my body.

I showed them to my mom and she stared to cry. She said she was sorry but at the time I didn't know what she was talking about. She told me that the apartment we used to live in was a hospital in the old days and the floor (which was the ground floor) that we lived on had been the E.R and that a little girl, who had died of blunt force trauma to the head from her mother, had died there.

At first I didn't believe her but then I started to think why would she want to "haunt" me. Ok this might sound weird but it turns out the little girl, her birthday was the same day as mine not the year though. But that's not the shocker. It turns out we are related, yep she is my great great great aunt. Funny thing is I look just like her when she was little.

But that was two years ago and we haven't heard from her since we found out we were related to her. Well that's my story and I hope you enjoyed it because it was thrilling ride for us!
