I have seen an angel, and I've seen a demon; I don't care to ever see a demon ever again.
I first saw an angel when I was either 4 or 5 years old. My uncle had just gotten married, and the wedding reception was down in the basement of our church. After the reception was over my grandma and I were walking out to the car. It had to have been near Christmas, because the Christmas wreaths were on the double doors that lead into the sanctuary. It was dark and cold, and there was a light sheet of snow on the ground.
On our way to the car I looked up at the double doors, and there was a man standing on the top step looking down at us. I stopped and stared at the man, because I could see through him. My grandma stopped and looked down at me, and she looked up to see what I was looking at. She asked me what I was looking at, and she suggested the wreaths, I just shook my head no. She asked, then what? I told her a man is up there. My grandma asked me if I was scared. I said no, because I wasn't. She knelt down next to me and asked me what the man looked like. I described him to her. He was a tall barefooted man wearing a white robe, and had gold hair.
Well my grandma told me that some people are fortunate enough that they get to see their guardian angels, and the man I just described sounds like an angel. After she said that the man smiled and vanished.
Then when I was 17 years old I saw a demon, and that is something I NEVER want to ever see again. We lived in a trailer park next to a farm, and our lot was one of the many that butted up to the farm. The farm was fenced in, because the farmer had sheep.
One night I woke up having to go to the bathroom. I have no clue what time it was; all I knew was that it was still dark outside. The only light was the light from the light pole in our yard, which wasn't much but enough that I could go from my bedroom to the bathroom and use the bathroom without turning on any lights.
After I finished, I went back to go back to bed and the light was now intense in my room. I remember thinking to myself "how long did I pee???" The light was so bright I thought the sun was up. I turned and went to the window covering my eyes, because the light was too bright. I looked upward, but seen the dark sky. I looked over at the lamp post in the yard and it was on, but that wasn't what was giving the intense light. Then I seen it.
This person was floating (yes floating) back and forth along the fence on the farmers side. It had white stringy hair. Like the angel I seen when I was younger this creature also wore a white robe, but it wasn't a clean white, and it was worn looking. This creature stopped pacing back and forth looked at me; it's eyes were white like two full moons, and it's teeth? The best thing I can use to describe its teeth is jagged glass. It opened its mouth and made a horrifying screeching noise, and it went into the livestock barn. The blinding light was now coming through the cracks of that barn. The animals were freaking out inside that barn. Scared out of my wits I jumped into my bed, and hid under my blanket; later I woke up in that same position.
I knew what happened, but I denied it thinking that maybe it was just a nightmare. A few days later I over heard the landlord of the trailer park, and the farmer talking, and the farmer was telling our landlord how he had to have a vet come over a few days ago, because his animals were acting weird and one was dead. The vet said that they were scared, and the one died as a result of a heart attack; probably scared to death. This confirmed to me that it wasn't a nightmare.
I know that people will not believe me, and many will write these off as being nothing more than an over active imagination of a 4 or 5 year old child, and a nightmare. But I KNOW what I saw, whether people believe me or not is their problem.
