Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I’m 25 and very aware of my surroundings. I have always felt presences, heard things, seen things move/shadows. Never have I had a clear experience where I actually seen something, but I still had experiences related to that.

A year ago, as I lay in bed trying to go to sleep, I felt a warm/soft hand grab my wrist and hold my arm, which was pulled in the air. I was on my side, with my arm on my side. As it grabbed me, I felt my body… more like my spirit, turn… it pulled me by the arm. So, my head was where my feet were and my feet were towards the headboard. I couldn’t move, couldn’t open my eyes, couldn’t talk. I wanted to scream, but couldn’t. My face was up, eyes were closed and I could feel something looking at me. I had a strong feeling as if someone’s face was directly in mine, staring… or like, someone stood over me, looking down… just staring. Although my eyes were closed and my sight was dark, there was one spot where it was darker, as if although my eyes were closed, the darkness of that figure was still visible through my eyelids. It just stared at me.

I was scared. Too scared, I panicked. It happened so quickly, I didn’t know what to do but think of god and ask for help. It stopped and did not happen for a long while… until a few months ago.

Again, I was trying to sleep and laid on my stomach. I refuse to sleep face up. I felt something lay behind me.. I felt a warm body laying on me, hovering me. I became paralyzed. I couldn’t move or scream. My eyes were slightly closed/open. I couldn’t move, but I fought it. In my mind, I said “Please stop… stop, GOD pleaseeeee… STOP.” I was able to move my arms a bit, and I grasped the bed and pulled myself away. I was free and able to move… I was back to normal, 5 minutes later, it happened again. However, after a few seconds of being paralyzed, it stopped. Somehow, I managed to fall asleep, scared to death.

I had a dream that same night. The same paralyzing thing that happened moments before, replayed in my dream. This time, I could see everything, as it wasn’t in the dark of the night. It was day. I didn’t see who was laying behind me, hovering over me, but in my dream, I recognized him as my deceased brother. My brother was laying on my back, covering me, “protecting” me. I asked him to stop. He didn’t. I asked why he was doing this. He said he was protecting me. I asked from what.  He didn’t say anything… I asked if it was something bad. He said Yes. I couldn’t see what he was protecting me from, but my visions in the dream kept focusing on one area of my room. There was nothing in the area, but that particular area is a part of my room, I’ve always felt uneasy about, even before the paralyzation / dream.

I can’t explain what it was, I don’t know if it’s something evil, nor can I figure out what’s happening to me… I just know I’m scared and I sleep with lights on. I have faith and I pray to god for protection, but I still can’t get over the fear.

Can someone help me? Any advice?
