Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

When we first moved in my new house all the rooms were taken so my sister and I had to share a room. Which was fine considering that it was close to my parents room.

Well one night, or early morning I should say, we heard a noise. So we cut the TV off so we could here what it was. Well we found out alright! What we heard has made me very frightened to go to our basement by myself or even with someone else for that matter. We heard what it sounded like a little kid running up our basement stairs then (the door was locked) they rattled the doorknob and I guess they found out that it was locked. And ran back down the stairs.

For about five years we never heard another sound like that again.Then one day my parents left me and my friend at my house alone while they went and ran some errands. We were inside the house on the computer checking our emails when all of a sudden out of no where the basement door slams shut really loud (we have a very big push up door and a normal sized door that leads outside too). Me and my friend both looked at each other and thought that it was just my brother or uncle coming to drop something off in the basement. But we were to scared to go and look.

So we both go outside and go down towards the basement doors. We kicked the normal sized one open because we didn’t see any cars. Well we didn’t see anything but things started falling and there was a really cold breeze as soon as we opened the door. We have lived in this house for eight years and are continuing to live here and I hope I don’t encounter anything else involving ghosts.
