Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

So we moved into our new house about a year ago. Everything was fine and normal for the first couple months, then weird stuff stared happening.

It started when my parents were sitting in the living room with the light out. They were the only ones home. They were just watching TV when the light popped on “by itself”. They told me about it when I got home, but I didn’t believe them. Then one day I was doing my homework as soon as I got home from school. It was still day so my lights were out and I opened my windows and used that light. The light above me turned on all a sudden! There is no switch on the wall for someone else to turn it on either. The only someone could have turned that light on is if I moved out of the way or thy leaned over top me which as I’m positive DID NOT happen!

It became the most scariest when I was at home with my two little sisters that are two and three. They want to open the door to any one and everyone they hear at the door. I was babysitting while my parents went out for the night. I can usually hear when they, or anyone else, pulls up in the driveway.
So I’m back in my room while my sisters are playing in theirs’. We all hear the door knob start rattling fiercely. They get to the door before me and try to open it. I tell them no and look out the window because I know that if it was my parents they would’ve already had the door open. I see no cars and no one at door, but yet the door knob is still rattling with no one near it! A few seconds later it stopped. I told my mom, but she didn’t believe me until she witnessed it happening when she was at home once.

A little bit later on when I was looking out the living room window I seen in the left hand corner what appeared like a old, pale face. I looked around for anything that might have reflected to make that, but nothing came to sight. I hurried and shut the blinds. I actually didn’t tell anyone about that. Then one day, my friend came over ( I never said anything to my friends about the previous weird events). We were sitting in front of that very same window talking. She was looking out the window then I seen her face turn scared and she moved the curtain over the left hand corner of the window. I asked her what’s wrong. She said nothing. After I hounded her about it for a little bit she finally spoke up. ” Don’t think I’m crazy? Promise. I saw something in the window that looked like a face!” I asked her to describe it to me and she described it as the same face I saw and in the EXACT same place I saw it.

Well since all that has happened its kind of got a little less scarier, I guess.

Just every now and then the light thing happens. But now doors open when we know they have been fully closed and shut properly! Sometimes we’ll even smell an unexplained burning smell when nothing has been light or cooked in a while. Its really weird. Sometimes we even hear unexplained noises!

Ever since we’ve moved in I’ve felt an unexplainable presence!
