Unexplainable Happenings

Posted on June 20, 2011

My family had just moved into a new house, about a year ago. For some reason everywhere we would live our lights would flicker, or weird noises would come from the attic. My mom always told us that it was our grandparents watching over us.

When I first walked into my room, I felt, different, unexplainable. It wasn’t a real bad feeling it just wasn’t the same. By the time we were all done unpacking we were tired. I went off to bed. It was about 11:30 pm when I woke up to my bed having a little shake. It was shaking for a good 5 seconds till I sat up to look around and no one was in my room. About an hour later I woke up to someone sitting on the end of my bed. It kinda freaked me out. I got up and slept in the living room that night. This would happen every so often that I just got used to it, assuming it was just my grandparents checking in on me.

About 3 months later, I had foot surgery and stayed in the living room (since I couldn’t walk up the stairs, I had to sleep on the main floor.) One night, I had woke up. It was cold, and felt heavy. I sat up and looked to the kitchen door. Then the bathroom and down the hall. I felt uneasy, and I laid back down. As I was laying there, it sounded like, marbles were rolling around upstairs in my room? No one was sleeping in there, and then I heard footsteps… I just told myself, again, its my grandparents and went back to sleep.

When I was finally able to walk, I went up to my room. Nothing had changed except my sheets to my bed were wrinkled, as if someone had laid down in them. I wanted to ignore this but I just couldn’t. That night, I went to bed at around 9:30. I woke up at around 11:30, and laid there. I felt paralyzed and I didn’t want to get up. Out of nowhere my pillow went over my face and a large amount of force held me down. When I finally got away I ran for the door, but it slammed shut and something grabbed my ankle and pulled me across the room. I kicked and screamed and broke free again.

I opened my door and ran downstairs, my mom was running out of the computer room. I ran up to her and told her what had happened, and she told me it was just a nightmare. She took me back to my room and laid me down. She said everything was fine and to go back to sleep. Right when she walked out of my room, it got really cold. My door slammed and my pillow once again went over my face! I got away a lot quicker and ran out of my room.

My mom was in the kitchen, and as I was running to the kitchen the door slammed shut! My mom was freaking out trying to open my door. I ran through the living room into the computer room, since there was another way in from the computer room and I went into the kitchen only to see my mom gone? I was so frightened, and slowly walked out to the living room. my mom was sitting on the couch watching TV as if nothing had happened? I asked her if she was okay and heard me screaming and she had told me she didn’t even know I walked downstairs. I sat down next to her and told her what had happened. She said I could sleep on the couch. My mom kissed me on the forehead and told me goodnight and went to bed.

I laid there and just stared at the ceiling. then I heard the marble rolling on the floor, and footsteps in my room. It got cold, and the pillow went over my face trying to suffocate me! The pillow went of my face and I saw a shadowy man standing over me, with red eyes and laughing.

I then woke up, in cold sweat, and screaming. It was all just a nightmare, but it felt so real! I ran downstairs crying telling my mom everything that had happened. I slept on the computer room floor that night because I was too afraid to leave my mom.

After that night I never had those feelings or experiences again.
