English word "vampire" is, in fact, derived directly from the old Serbian term "vampir", denoting the undead - the vampires. So, in Serbia, 'vampire' is 'vampir', not "veshtiza". There's much more about the vampires in Serbian folklore and legends, but it's surely not possible to list all of it. Also, the "Bosnian" vampire listed here is entirely unknown in the local folktales. It sounds like a German term, from the time Bosnia and Herzegovina were under the Austro-Hungarian rule.
