The Spirit Of My Grandfather’s Sister

June 24, 2008

One night, I was sleeping in my room. It was quite early and I was a little tired so I decided to take a small nap. After my nap, I was hungry so I went to go make myself a soup. Then I realized that my brother wasn’t home yet from his soccer practice and would arrive shortly so I decided to make him a soup too. I sat down at the table and started eating my soup. I heard a strange noise, like a slurping noise. I said to myself, ok, no one else is in the house. So I was a little bit freaked out about that. I finally told myself that it was my imagination and went to take my mind off it by watching television.

As I was watching TV, I needed to go to the bathroom so I got up and passed by the kitchen table. I looked at my brother’s plate and saw that the bowl that was full 10 minutes ago was now empty and the spoon was just next to the bowl. OH MY GOD!

I went back to my room and sat on my bed. I couldn’t believe what was happening. I then went to the bathroom and decided I was going to take a shower. It was really relaxing and then all of a sudden I just felt like energy was being sucked out of me. I thought it was because of the heat so I got out, put my p-jays on and just went straight to bed.

It was about 4.00 am when I woke up and I just saw this little girl, about 11 years old with beautiful gold blond hair. She was just sitting on my bed blinking at me. She did not say a word. I felt as if my face was frozen and I couldn’t scream or move. I was like a statue.

Finally I forced my mouth open and let out a little peep. The spirit said to me, I’m lost, can you help me find my way to the light where I belong. I do not wish to scare you but if I am scaring you, please just tell me and I will leave. I finally gained sensation again and said to her, Child, you are frightening me. Please go away where you need to belong. You belong in heaven and I will guide you there. In a couple of hours the sun will rise, follow the sound of the chirping birds and the warm sensation of the sun. You will reach Heaven and be happy there.

She tried to approach me and give me hug but I pulled the covers over my head and when I took a little peek she was still there. I told her, please go back, reach your destiny. She looked at me as if she was lost. (in the moon) I just continued to stare at her and finally the sun was rising and she looked at me and said, good bye it is my time to leave. And she just left. I was just so shocked I couldn’t go back to bed.

The next day, we went to my grandfather’s house and I felt as if I had some kind of connection with the spirit so I asked my grandfather to show me some old pictures and the girl that I saw the night before was there! Right there in the picture frame! So I asked him who it was and he said, That was my little sister. She died when she was only 11. She got hit by a car. That’s when it reality hit me. I felt like I had just smashed into a brick wall. The little girl never came back to me again.
