The Ouija Board And The Ghost in My House

This has been happening for years, all these things are true, many times I’ve heard things in my house.

I’m 17 and live in a big two story house with my grandma and aunt and her baby and 3 little bros and mom and dad and two dogs and three fish and a rabid mongoose that runs around in our walls (not even kidding).

Anyway we used to play with Ouija boards when I was younger, and even though everyone’s hands were under it everyone swore to God they were not doing anything, and I could tell from their faces that they were scared. It would always spell things like curse words or ‘death’ or ‘die’ or something like that. It was an old wooden one that was real scary even to look at.

Then once my aunt got tired of it being there and took it to her dad’s work (when he lived with us) and broke it and threw it away. When we got home it was sitting on her bed upstairs intact. So we burned it and it never came back.

Also one time this girl named Nicole, who was a friend of my aunt’s, came over and no one was home, but she didn’t know it, she thought my aunt was upstairs asleep, and so she walked up the stairs yelling for my aunt to get up and she heard a voice yell at her to get out, it was a man’s voice. So she ran out and she won’t ever come back to our house again.

A lot of times when you stay at home alone in that house you hear people walking through the upstairs hallway, and especially in the attic. My room is up on the top floor at the very end of the hallway, and there is a hole in my door because I got mad once and put a broom through it. Anyway, I thought I heard someone walking around down near the bathroom at the other end of the hall, but it was 3:15 in the morning, so I got up and went to look.

When I peeped through the hole I saw a man standing there. He looked at me directly and then began walking down the hall. I was so scared I vomited on the floor and then ran back to my bed and got under the covers. I heard the door open but then nothing else happened. I fell asleep sweating and crying. I was 15.

My little brothers have all reported things such as that as well. Anyone know whets going on?

    You know, I have heard of someone who had an ouija board which was apparently haunted in a way, meaning it ‘magically’ turned up fixed after being broken or thrown away. I do not know yet why this happens. I am 18 now and I do a lot of research on the paranormal amongst other things. I had my first ouija board session about a month ago. It was home made lol since they don’t sell any here. Anyway we didn’t get much because we had only about 20minutes to spare. We contacted our last entity of that day, who’s name started with a D, and we got nothing else. We also had random things happen in the start and an entity who didn’t wish to speak [the pointer moved directly to goodbye]. Anyway we didn’t get much as I have stated before and luckily, nothing bad has happened. I will see if I can get any information on your situation. Take care.

    this is a ghost obviously but it isnt the one from the ouigi bourd unless it tried to hurt or kill anyone so you should be fine but you will be scared alot of times so just try a seance and try to help the spirit get to heaven

    Hi, I’m also 17 years old and I know friends who have had similiar experiences with ouija boards. One time my friend and I were playing with one at her house. The next day her mom told us that she looked down the hall and saw someone that she thought was my friend, walking into her room. She called her name and followed her into the room but nobody was there. Then a few seconds later, my friend walked out of the bathroom, having just taken a shower. My friend said she walked into her room to see her mom standing there, confused and pale.

    I would try not to be scared of the ghosts, because I think they can sense fear. And I don’t think they are really threatening(although I don’t know). Then, tell them out loud(politely, but firmly) to get out of your house and that they aren’t wanted. Tell them to go to the other side and move on.

    You’re better off if you don’t mess around with ouija boards home made or not, they work just as well either way and they are not good at all in my experiences with them. I had a horrible experience after using a home made one - please don’t use them unless you want trouble in your life!!

    omg, my friend has a ouiji board and we used to ask it questions and it would always get it right. Two of my other friends would sware that they werent doing anything as well. it was pretty freaky. Theres this haunted house in my neighborhood that supposedly has a ghost living in it. People have claimed that they saw it, but others have not. Nobody lives in that house. It’s vacant and haunted.
    Sometimes, I wouldnt believe those people, but they warned me that something was going to happen to me, but nothing has happened since then. That is pretty freaky though. If that were me, I would have done the exact same thing!!

    omg ur not supposed to brake the board. i would just drop the board off at the stairs of a church and th rabbi/priest/minister will find and dispose of it properly

    I’m made atleast 3 homemade Ouija-Bourds and owned one that i bought and it glew in the dark so did the planchet (I think it was by milton-Bradley) i never used it in the dark though, it would only glow bright enough to see the letters for a few short minutes. But it didnt seem to work, so i stopped using in and made my own. The 3rd one i made i used non-stop for nearly 2 years, alteast 15 months straight, i’d stay awake and sit with it on my lap intil my back hurt so bad i couldnt sit in that position anymore, i’d sit in the living-room chair w/ it, and in my bedroom. All hours of the day and night i’d use that thing. I wasnt possessed, i just wanted to talk. I didnt have any freinds then, and i dont have any now, i dont want freinds, i’ve had many that turned out to be two-faced and backstabbers, so i nolonger trust people, and the Board was the only company i had. i was 18 in a half when i started using it and didnt stop until 3 days after my 20th birthday. anyhow, you’re not supposed to burn a Ouija-Board either, because when you burn things, the smoke rises from it and the particles both material and spiritual are released into the air. Thats probably where the Man-Demon/Spirit came from. it came from burning it. I’m not completely sure how to dispose of a Ouija-Board. But i know not to break it and not to burn it. I think youre supposed to just leave it alone and it will decay on its own. Anyow, my expiriences with the O-Board were not pleasent and i wont tell the story unless you really care to hear about it.

    Ouija boards are atoss of the dice u could get evil or good spirits or a bad one pretending to be good. just be careful if u decide to call on the spiritual world cuz once u bring sumthin bad n its hard to get rid of it

    Ouiji boards are not to be messed with u may have let one out in your house either way you need to let it know its ur house ur not leaving they have passed they need to go try find a expert to help all the best

    Hi people,
    My girl friend got one for her 14th birthday and she was having a sleep over so all of us played with it. It was very freaky. It told me that I was going to have six kids and I said no way and asked again and again it said six kids and it kept saying it so I sore at it and the planchet flew off the board and scared the crap out of us! I then said I was sorry and we started playing again. We asked it if it was good or evil and it said evil! We were really scared and were creeped out all night at her house.
    I never played it again and you know what between the miscarriages that I’ve
    and one would have been twins I have one boy but if I didn’t miscarry I would have had six kids by now…
    The girl that lives next to us she used to play it when she was a teen and she sore at it once too and she said that the
    planchet also flew off the board then she heard what sounded like some one peeing in the corner of the room… she has had some scary things happen to her and her live has gone down badly because she drinks hard boose every day and I think she only has maybe three more years to live. She went from a pretty girl to big and zitty and she is very bitter. Anyway a friend was staying at her house and she said she got up to get something to drink and she went to the frig. got some water and turned around and there was an old man with blood red eyes sitting at the table just staring at her. She ran out of the room and he just turned his head watching her leave. Now I wonder if they let that demond in there house because of the board and seeing her life go down the way it has I just wonder… Stay away from them they are no good!

    I would say this sprit is someone who lived in this house long ago. Your best bet is to try tgo talk to it or speak to maybe a lanlord or tentant of the house and ask of a man living there.Also try not to disturb it..

    First of all when u play with a Quija board u are opening a portal to the spirts/demons and ghosts. When u play with one no mattter if someone is pushing it,it is dangerous because u never know what is going to happen.
    Your Aunt did one of the dumbest things to break it. That is bad luck. that will make the spirits angry. Dont be scared becuase if the spirits wanted to hurt u they would have already done it.

    When i was 8 or 9 yo my older twin brothers brought a ouija board on the weekend for all to play, it was 4 bros and two friends , close to midnight we got to play with it and made several questions and got the awnswers,nothing scary but when our friend made fun of us and the spirits , the board moved and the lights turned of, we all runned out the house .after he left the lights turned on again and we went inside and turned all the lights on.the same weekend they did the same at other friends house.the same guy was there and somehow , he got scared and went out running and screaming and to this day no one knows what really happened that day, he wont talk about it and the rest say it was the ouija board that did something to him. The board still at a friends closset and no one will even mention that day any more.

    I too i have messed with the O board..but only to contact some friends that have passed away..i contacted them but only to ask them if tthey are ok..one of them was a grown man who actually told us not to talk to him because of our safety..that was two years ago and nothing has happened out of the ordinary since…iv heard that to get rid of the board you poor a wax cross over the board..and if you are going to use one, before contacting anyone you should speak loudly a firmly that no evil is welcome here and to leave now…

    you never should have burnet the witchboard next time wich i dont recomend their be a next time burrie it in salt salt under it ond over top of it

    i would love to have a ouiji bored is awsome my mom doesnt allow them in our house they contact the other world you shouldnt have burned it though you should have seperated the pieces and through it away in seperate places,thats how you get rid of a ouiji bored!!!
