Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

When I was in college I rented an apartment with a roommate. His room was across from mine.

Sometimes I would just lay in bed with the door open, he was always hanging out. A few times I saw a shadow walking in his room, but I didn’t think anything.

We hired an old lady to cook for us and maintain the apartment. We used to shop for groceries in bulk to save. One of the items we bought is a 20 lb bag of rice. One day the lady was telling us if we want to save money we have to stop giving our food away. We didn’t understand what she was talking about. She explained that the rice seems to be less every day. We told her that we don’t even get in the kitchen since she is cooking.

The next day she told us that she will no longer come to the apartment. After we calmed her down, she said that she tied the bag of rice in a certain way, and when she came the next day she found it open. She also told me about the white shadow that keeps going to my friend’s room. When she asked the super, he told her that the original tenant was burned to death in the apartment. We followed her looking for another apartment.
