The Ghost We Call John Doe
July 22, 2008
We moved into our new house summer of 05 which was about four years ago. We were so excited. It seemed ok until I heard what I didn’t want to hear.
It was the summer, like I said, I wanted to stay at the new house to start on my room while my family finished moving the rest of the stuff from the old house to the new house. I was sitting in my room on my floor listening to the radio when all of a sudden the radio went static and the sun kind of went behind the clouds. It got unnervingly quiet and I felt someone was watching me. The experts say anyone can have the feeling of someone watching you but this was different so I got up, ran out side and gathered my thoughts.
I felt fine so I went in and stayed in the kitchen until everyone arrived. I was OK, so a couple of weeks went by.
My pap was the one to experience the first ghostly encounter. He was standing in the kitchen. Over our sink is a huge mirror, he saw someone run by into the back room. He even ran back there yelling our names because he honestly thought it was me or my grandmother. It spooked him but he never saw it again.
It was really getting summer outside at the time, hot and stuffy where you had to almost leave your windows open to get some relief. Anyway, my mother and my boyfriend were sitting on the couch and we were telling ghost stories. All of a sudden something clicked in my head. I went back into my memory and remembered what the previous owner had given me as an answer when I asked her if anything strange has happened in the house and her reply “There was a fireman and his family that lived here before we did and the husband died and the wife and kids moved out and they moved on.” So I told them the story and as soon as I did everything on TV was about fire trucks. It was so crazy commercials, even cartoons. It was spooky.
We continued the summer and went through Christmas without anything happening just until about 2006 things really started to heat up. Here is what ”John Doe” does: He pretends its you and calls someone’s name thinking you want them then pretends it’s that person calling your name, get it? He makes weird smells, touches you when your sleeping, shakes the beds, gets in the shower with you, when your back is turned whisper things in your ear, turns on my lights in my room and closet, stereo, TV, sometimes when I’m sitting there he walks back and forth in the hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom. He doesn’t hurt anyone, he’s just lonely and we tell him he is ok and not alone and he quits the disturbing. It’s sad but how do we help him move on?

Got something to say?
get a priest i think….thats the only advice i can give you.Or maybe get an ouija board and see if you can talk to him…ask him what he wants and maybe tell him he must move on.
This story is strane .I think you should tell john doe that you are welcome to join the family.Or you could sarch his family and maybe search his history so that he knows you .
just tell him he’s been dead for year that its time to cross over ..some family may be waiting….dont be afraid since u say he’s friendly…say it loudly when you think he’s around
DON’T get a ouija board, wish some of you lovely people would please stop advising this, especially to children, there are very few experiences that are not disturbing after using these boards. My experience with one led to an evil presence attacking me!! Also see the story from scotslassy.
Once you get an evil presence after messing around with the occult, you are most likely to end up in serious trouble.
Sorry if i have offended anyone by saying this, but it’s only to help this person.
What a silly thing to say, “get a ouija board”. Why don’t you just ask the spirit to start attacking you to save time? NO don’t get a ouija board for heaven’s sake! Get in touch with a PRIEST.
pray for him to gt to the light
I agree with Jackie. Do not use a ouija board they are very dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing or may encounter. There are a lot of people out there that deal with people who have passed over and would love to help you talk to them.
What ever u do dont up set him help the spirt dont say anything that will make him mad dont ask qustions about his family spirts are sincedive to.
Dont say annthing rude cause when es mad people will start getting hrt our worse if u want him out ask him nicley our pray him out
IF YOU ENJOY HIM ,LET HIM STAY AT YOUR HOUSE BUT IF YOU DONT DONT WASTE TIME KICKING HIM OUT OF YOUR HOME
I agree with Will. You need to be gentle yet firm and tell him he needs to move on, that he’s in the wrong place.Tell him there are loved ones who are waiting to accept and comfort him, he’ll find peace with them.He might be afraid to go or maybe he doesn’t know he’s dead. There is always the possibility he chooses to stay.He might like your family and the attention he gets.If that’s the case then try telling him when he’s bothering you, let him know that you don’t like whatever it is that he’s doing and you want him to stop it.He might see that you don’t want him to continue that action and stop, but if it’s his choice to be there he’ll more than likely come back later for attention. As just about everyone else says - NO ouija board! That’s just asking for trouble, instead of sending John away you might be letting something terrible into your home.
WELL WAT I HAVE TO TELL U IS THAT TRY TALKING TO HIM TELL HIM THAT HE IS NOT ALONE THAT U GUYS WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM. ALSO U COULD LIT UP A CANDLE AND PUT IT NEXT TO THE VIRGIN MARY OR JESUS. CUZZ MAYBE HE WANTS LIGHT CUZ HE CAN’T FIND IT. THIS HAPPEN TO MY DAD HE WAS DREAMING ABOUT HIS GRANDMA AND FINALLY HE PUT A CANDLE ON THE VIRGIN MARY AND PRAY A PRAYER AND HE NEVER DEAMED ABOUT HIS GRANDMA. SO DO THIS FOR THE FIREMAN.
