Ok I lived in Chesapeake, Virginia at the time in an apartment complex I would say about a little over 3 years ago. Me and my husband lived there for over a year with nothing strange happening. At this time I was about 6 months pregnant.

I am not sure what started it or why it started happening but a couple of small events happened in my apartment about a month before we started noticing these strange events (My mother came to visit and hadn’t realized our cat must have jumped in the dryer, but found it the next day when it was to late.) I don’t know if you know this, but Old Town, Alexandria in Virginia is said to be very haunted. It is about six miles away from Washington D.C., and about an hour and a half away from Richmond, Virginia.

Anyway, my family lives in a very old house in the historical part of the town. My older sister has always had sort of a “sixth sense” for paranormal activity, such as feeling presences and hearing footsteps when I can’t. In September of 2009 I attended something called a Tavern Ghost Walk in Colonial Williamsburg. What it is, is that a tour guide takes us down a street, which is surrounded in haunted places. The guide leads us to each location and tells us the story. The following stories are not something I have experienced, although I did experience something while on this walk.
