Our Strange Occurrences at the Crescent Hotel

My friend and I stayed this past weekend in room 213. We had several things happen while we were there. Odd things that occurred and left us believing for sure that there is some type of paranormal activity that resides at the Crescent.

The first thing we had happen – We were ready to leave for town, or a little shopping – this was on October 1st. I had laid my camera beside my purse on the bed. I had go to the rest room, my friend was in the other bathroom area putting on her makeup. After I came out I asked her where my camera was. We both were looking for it only to find it was laying on top of my suitcase rocking back and forth about to fall off, it was barely even on the suit case. It shocked us both and made chill bumps go on our arms, we took numerous pictures of it.

Ghosts at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs

Just wanting to get away for a few days, my daughter and I headed north to Eureka Springs, AR. It’s been a goal of mine to visit the Crescent Hotel for many years.

The first thing we do when we arrive in Eureka Springs is get directions to this fabulous hotel. As we drive into the parking lot, I can already tell this is going to be an adventure. I grab my digital camera (with extra batteries) and start taking pictures.

We planned to take the “Ghost Tour” that night, but when we started to sign up, ‘something’ told me to wait, do this tour the ‘next’ night instead. So we went for a carriage ride that night, outside the Crescent Hotel. The ride was fun, breezy and very informative. (We were told a lot about the history of Eureka Springs).
