Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I believe that spirits are drawn to certain people and like in my case are hard to get rid of. Also that these people are influenced by the spirits.

Mine started when I was a year and a half old. My parents along with me, my older brother and sister moved from one small farm to a much bigger one in Vermont. The first thing I can remember is riding in the front seat of our car. Me in the middle of my mother and father, and my sister and brother in back. As we pulled up in front of our new house the barn and sheds were on the opposite side of the road from the house.

It was like I was watching the car with us in it from the window of one of the sheds. As I watched I saw my whole family, myself included, pull into the drive and I was bawling my head off. My parents said I couldn’t be consoled for 3 days.

I always felt like I was being watched, and would do any thing to keep from being alone. When I was 8 years old I went up in the hay mow to throw down bales of hay for the cows, and as I looked up I saw a man standing up high on a beam watching me. At that time I ran down and told my father, and he went and looked but didn’t see any one.

I’ve had troubles most of my life with booze and it took me years to get away from it. I believe that was the influence of the spirit.
