Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

It was Feb..13.06, I was in the 4th grade, and there was a big snow storm and north Easter, as people would say and my aunts birthday was that day and everyone canceled because of this blizzard, My 20 year old cousin was suppose to go to my aunts party but since it was canceled he decided to go quad riding with his friends. He was so excited to go that he ran out of the house with NO helmet. He got a bite to eat and then went quading. We don’t no the truth but what we heard was a girl cut him off and he lost control and he crashed into a street pole and got brain damage. When his mother (my aunt Doreen) got the call she was freaking out he got sent to the hospital. About, a week later my cousin was put on life support and passed away. Everybody was sick.I was little so me and my cousins really didn’t understand what was going on all we new was my cousin had died. we didn’t no anything about life support, or what brain damage was. But as I got older I understood everything. And started getting signs. Signs that he was with us. Here’s my story…

About a couple of months after Petey passed away my cousin joined a basketball team, and it was a night of when he was playing so everyone was hear to watch, not me though just his mom,dad, and his 4 year old brothers. You know how they say that little kids can see ghost or sense them? But, my cousin Alex was sitting at the bleachers that night and randomly started to run up and stopped near a guy. The guy was wearing a blue t-shirt, with white pants. The men also, had my cousins Petey’s hair due. Alex was Petey’s favorite, he came to see Alex all the time he loved him and Alex was the one to run up to this men. He went to the guy and goes “mommy I saw Petey! he’s right over there!” my aunt didn’t understand so she just took a picture of this men. When she developed the picture it was blurry and there was I don’t know and angel or something coming out of the guy. We still don’t know what that was but we kept the picture as long as possible still to this day we have it in his room framed.

About a year later my friend grandmother and my friends came to my house. My friends grandmother always had experiences wit ghost, she had this power that she could sense the paranormal. So when she was talking to us about paranormal things that happened to us there was this candle in my house, and when she started talking about Petey the candle flung in the air and floated for about a 2 seconds and dropped to the floor, she said that he was hear, with us. Everybody was in total shock.

About 2 years later my aunt Doreen went to Florida with her family and my uncle lost his car keys in the ocean. They were no where to be found. Without those keys they would be stuck on the beach and locked out of there car because no one had there keys. My uncle was sitting with his head down and was shaking his head. He couldn’t believe he lost his keys. But then a men appeared to him with his keys! and said “Hey men are these your keys?” my uncle looked at him in confusion and said “YES! THANK YOU THANK YOU” The men said “your welcome”. no how did that men know my uncle lost his keys? you know how many people were on that beach? So when my uncle went to put his keys in his pocket and wanted to thank the guy again. The guy was GONE. no where to be seen. This was a huge beach how could he have walked away that fast. We all believe it was an angel watching down On my family that day.

Three years later my grandmother was turning 70. we had a big surprise party for her about 45 people came in my tiny house. to be there. So my cousin Michael came for the party (he is Petey’s brother) and we just started to talk about Petey because there is this girl in my school who is a person who always talks about ghost. So she told that we can do a seance I new you contact the dead when you do that and she said ” if you want to see your cousin do a seance” she explained to me what we had to do so me and my cousin Michael did a seance. we closed all the light shut the blinds and went in my moms silent room. we sat on her bed and joined hands. We said ” Petey if you are hear give us a sign. shine a light move the bed anything just show us that your hear” Nothing. we waited a little longer and in my mother mirror there was a BRIGHT RED LIGHT we looked carefully and my cousin said he saw a face. I got so frightened I opened the light and said I couldn’t do this anymore. I thought it was a car light but the blinds were shut a light would of never came in so clearly like I seen it I looked out of the window after and there was no car the street was dark. The red light was definitely a sign. That night I was twisting and turning and kept thinking of that bright red light so I decided to picture it in my head. and I remembered I did see eyes and a nose. and it was a face. My cousin saw it to. we new it was him.

He appears in my dreams a lot. and about  2 weeks after he past away my cousin Melissa was sitting on the couch and she heard foot steps leading to his room. and the door in his room shut. I was deadly afraid to sleep at there house. so Michael had all pictures of him on his wall I would sit and turn the pictures around at night. When I fell asleep I looked at Petey’s door it was opened. when I looked at 6:00 in the morning it was shut. No one was up but me and I asked everyone in the house if they shut Petey’s door and everyone said no. I felt weird the next night and me and Michael set up all night talking. I needed someone. comfort.

We get signs daily. No one will ever forget him. He is always at our family’s sides. its been 3 years and 2 months that he left us. 3 years of experience. If you love one passed away don’t be afraid if you get signs. sure you’ll probably get freaked out but, my aunt always told me “never be afraid of Petey he will NEVER hurt you”  and I stuck with that.
