There is a website called the Shadowlands that I like just as much as this website. The only story I’ve ever written to them is, I swear, nearly identical to your story. It is one of my (skeptical) friend’s stories about her and her sister. She was terrified of her long bedroom windows so she would sleep in her parent’s bed. She was never be able to sleep because of the 3 men in black and top hats that would stare at her behind her parent’s bedroom door. During a family dinner many years later, her sister talked of how she used to see 3 men in black and a top hat behind her parent’s bedroom door. I cannot believe how simliar your stories are.

That is pretty scary.
I hope you don’t return.

And yes, the shadowman was scary but because we didn’t know what it was and seeing him alone was scary. He didn’t try to do anything. He just stood and watched and watched and of course you can’t move cuz you don’t know what to do at first.
Funny thing is the three of us who did see him have had to struggle way more in life and have had more tragic events happen to us than anyone else in our family who had never seen him.

wow thats not as bad as what happined to me. i’ve been trying to find a cure for a demon in m house. He comes to my sistersroom and i hear her talking to him. Once i walked in and he made himself look like a young scared little boy. HE saw me. I walked to my sis and she was crying. She said it felt as if he was digging holes into my eyes. That other nigth, she slept with me. He came in and i woke up. This time he looke like a murderer with an axe. His teeth had blood and his eyes were shining. I screamed and woke her up. When she looked he tuirned back int othe little boy and he said, “please….help…” She was screaming, “tell him to stop Allie! please tell him to stop!” all i could thin of was to cover her eyes. I put a pillow over her eyes and stop screaming and calmed down. He turned back into a murderer and came towards me. And i said, “maddie! tell himto leave you alone, okay?! try it!” She did and he backed up to the door adn left. Before he kood she sad, “LEAVE THIS HOUSE NOW ARTHUR AND DONT TOUCH MY FAMILY!” he faded with a tiny,”help……” we both fell asleep .

Three months later, we totally forgot. Madison was sleeping in her room again and she was totally happy. Then, one mornign she started talking about the demon. “He told me that he was a little boy, but some one killed him and he was trying to warn us and the demon could go int o peoples body and live like that. His name was arthur adn he said i was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. And that the demon likes to go in me the most. and he said he would never hur t me would never hurt me.
I miss him”
And that did it. with a wind gushign throught our hair. Maddie had her eyes close and slammed her head down on the table. Th ewind stopped and i looked u[. Arthur was crouching beside maddie and smiling, “maddie? are-are you okay” I whsipered’ hehe. maddie arthur is right beside you.” Her head shot up. “Arthur!” He grinned and i still hear that he lives in that the same way, hopin for us to return..though, ive never heard about the demon again.
