Young children tend to be very psychically “open” — maybe because they just came over from “the other side” — so they can see all kinds of things, and sometimes talk about things that happened before they were born or what their experiences were like on the other side.

But as we grow older we tend to get more focused on this world, and more materially-focused, and are able to use our psychic senses less and less.

I think the reason you quit seeing Rosie and the other ghosts was not that they left you, but that getting more involved in the “real” world meant that you were less tuned in to “otherworldly things” that we can’t see with our physical eyes. We see ghosts with our mind’s eye (because they aren’t really physical, since not everybody can see them) and when our mind is more tuned to the physical world, then we tend to see only physical things.

The yogis say that our abililty to see spiritual things is due to our “sixth sense” (intution) which manifests in different ways — when it is really open you can see things visually.

You still have some part of your mind open to sense those things, so you can still feel them and see them out of the corners of your eyes (where you aren’t really focused on seeing “reality”). The good news is that if you are psychically open, you can use that connnection to connect to positive spiritual things as well.

I think that Rosie was there to help you though your hard times, i think that she was there also to let your grandma no that you were safe and all right. i think that Rosie didn’t just leave you , i think taht maybe she happened to be that guardian angle that god pick out for every one. i think that god called her back to help someone else. you grew up and you got better. i think that when in a hard time Rosie will show up again.she will be there for you when you need her the most.

have you ever heard of a spirit guide?
sometimes our spirit guides can be from past lifes helping us there our lives now. rosie was there for you gandma and she was and is there for you. she already knows situations that you may go through and is going to help you with them. everyone has a spirit guide but its up to them if they want to contact them. sometimes they just show up when you need them. rosie knew that you need help through that time and she was there for you. trust me if you want to see her again all you have to do is find a way and want a way to contact her.

Thats kinda cool its not scary @ all i would want that to happen to me maybe since she figuired out that you knew her better thats why she started to fade away or maybe that you got better

Hey I think your grandmothers cousin was just not ready to go yet. She attached to you because she wanted to stay in the family but your grandmother could not see her as you could. She helped you through a bad time and that is awsome. She may be gone or she may not be but she was there when you needed. Not many people get that.

I believe its your grandma’s cousin but its just my opinon of course, people might think its not but thats what i think.
MOSTLY everyone stops seeing ghosts at a certain age but then there’s still a reason why they saw it. some dont know why and some think they do. but then u stopped seeing her when ur problems were over so to my opinon, she was there to help u in that situation or ur parents. but that meant that she was actually a very nice spirit than those who were dead after something that really hurted them in some way and they try to take revenge over it. but so ur a very lucky girl so dont take it the wrong way. Rosie might still be with u even though u cant see her anymore. just remember this: kids stop seeing spirits at a certain age or maybe they dont stop but there’s always a posibilty for her to be right by ur side.
and btw… i loved the story =]

Most spirits have to go away once you reach a sertain age were you dont need them any more she was there when your parents were fighting and stuff but now the custody thing changed all that see what i mean.
Dosent mean shes gone though.
So that s cool youve alredy got an ANGEL with you so i better leave, ya know alredy dead just wanted ta help out but shell do a better job.

thats amazing, if it is true anyway, but i believe you tho, i’ve never seen a ghost or anything like that, but i’ve always been very fasinated with the paranormal, I think that your a very lucky person, u have been blessed with an awesome gift, im jealous, lol. well i don’t no i think if i saw a ghost i’d be kinda scared.

children froma young age are more suceptive to spirits as ther minds have not been curupted by the ways of the world, i do think that you have a gift. if you want to keep this try and devolope it there are always ways to do so!!!

I think the person who was with you was more likely your guardian angel. Lots of young girls have long dark curly hair, so that could be a coincidence looking like Rosie. I’m less inclined to believe these days that there are really ghosts… more residuals than ghosts. i believe there are beings from other dimensions which would like you to think they are the long lost relatives, but these are just deceptive forces which are trying to get into our dimension. I believe the only things truly available for us to see are angels and demons. Angels are there to protect you from evil and this is why you sometimes see them.

My daughter used to see someone who i believe now was her guardian angel and hers disappeared after a while. You are much more receptive to the paranormal as a child, so it’s understandable that your angel/ghost whatever you wish to call it has faded. You may get this back again in times of hardship when your receptives are at their highest levels.

That’s sad! Some people say there are angles that stay here because they have a mission that they did not or could not complete in there life. So they stay till they can help. I think Rosie’s mission was to help you threw the depression and custody battles. Then when they were over she moved on. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and thought on the matter.
