Your dream was so vivd and real you thought you were awake but you were In a state of sleep and waking up to quick from your dream. I know, this has happened to me several times. sometimes I see things sometimes I don't and just like you I could not move, scream or anything .In my case it wasn't anything paranormal. I have a friend who had the same thing happen to her and in her sleep paralysis she saw what she thought was an alien with the gray skin, big eyes and big head. But it was all a dream. it seems like you experienced sleep paralysis in your first story. I have seen enough impossible in my life to believe in it. I have heard of spirits not acknowledging that they are dead...this sounds like a classic example of that. Now for the experience, when you were 19, with the spirit, I believe that was the spirit of the grandfather of the young lady who use to live in your apartment. He was just watching over his granddaugther's well being, and once you and your friend told him that she had moved away to America, he felt at peace and then was able to cross over to I'm sure Heaven, because you had mentioned that he started to have a glow about him. So, actually, you and your friend helped the grandfather to find peace with some unfinished business, so to speak. May I ask, what country are you from?
