Have you ever wondered whether or not you have lived before? Many cultures and societies all around the world believe in the concept of reincarnation. Reincarnation is most often associated with the idea of karma. Imagine karma as a spiritual bank account. When you do good things you are basically depositing credits into your spiritual account. When you do bad things your account drops. The general idea is that when you are reborn after death you will either reap the benefits of your past good deeds or you will have to work off your ‘debt’ caused by your past bad deeds. Some people believe that your karma is paid back to you during your current life. John Lennon referred to this idea as instant karma. Keep in mind that this is only a generalized explanation of the concepts of karma and reincarnation.
