Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

My friend and I went to the local “Haunted Insane Asylum” to see if the stories were true.

There was a series of “tunnels” in one part of the buildings. As I approached the entrance of the tunnel I shined my flashlight into it and saw only bricks on the ground.  When I pulled the flashlight away I saw a pair of red glowing orbs in the back of the tunnel, upon shinning the light in there again there was nothing.  Taking the light away again the orbs were there again only bigger.

There was a high amount of heat coming from the tunnel, and in the middle of October in Central Illinois that is unusual for a building that has been abandoned for about 20+ years.

I turned the flashlight away again and the orbs had formed in to one large one and there was a sound of metal scraping stone.  So I shined the light in the tunnel again to see if anything was falling before I went in there.  As I took a step into the tunnel and turned the flashlight off again it seemed like the orbs were right in front of me as a metal folding chair landed at my feet. Needless to say I turned around and ran like hell.

Later when I told a friend about it he told me the ghost was named “Red Eyes” and he was a Boiler Room Attendant who preformed experiments on the patients, both medical and sexual.  The patients had enough and caught the boiler room on fire and killed Red Eyes.
