DragonsRule, I don’t think that her being a pre-mother had anything to do with that strange feeling of hair standing up on her neck, you theory could be right but then again in the haunted house I grew up in, strange things happend to my mother which didn’t happen to other family memebers,like in this story it only happend to her!

Interesting…perhaps the ‘’spirit” that whispered ”Bryan, Bryan,” was a young child and was jealous of your baby and the attention he was receiving, hence the child was young and sometimes kids can not be themselves when siblings are born. But of course, this whole theory is incorrect if the male voice you witnessed was a deep, adult voice. Also, I agree that it is strange that when your parents walked up the stairs, the light did not flicker, but however have you considered the idea that there are problems with your electricity? Another thing is, when you experienced your hair rising from the back of your neck, etc., maybe it was a consequence of being a pre-mother? No offense, of course! And one crazy thought: what if when you always said you hated your ex-husband’s house, a spirit that lived there became angry at you and caused all these strange occurences to happen? Anyway, great story! Thanks!

Was your son’s name Bryan?
The reason why I ask is…when we were living in a haunted house, I had got a new puppy for my 3-year old son and the ghost waited for all of us to go to bed, too. Well, 5 minutes later, the spirit was heard saying “B E L L A”. (that was the puppy’s name) And, we all new that the ghost just wanted to greet the puppy in his own way, so she could get used to him being around.
Creepy? Yes.
A deceased family member of ours- no.
Maybe it was your father, but It could have also just been the spirit of that house, saying hello to your son.
