Over the years my family and friends have witnessed strange things occurring, some that can’t easily be explained.
Back in early May 2005, my grandmother, who lived overseas, had a serious heart attack one day and her health deteriorated rapidly soon after. She was barely eating, losing a lot of weight and was going in and out of consciousness. My mother, obviously concerned, immediately booked tickets to fly overseas to be with her. Unfortunately a few days before she was due to leave, we received a call from my cousin overseas, informing us that my grandmother had passed away.
My family and I were in shock and quite upset, but understandably it was inevitable. I remember crying myself to sleep that night, knowing that I’d never see her again. The pain was unbearable, but my mother decided to leave to attend the funeral. We called her every few days and after two weeks, she finally came home. I remember very clearly the few strange things she told us that had happened after the funeral.
My mother had decided to sleep in my grandmothers room the night of the funeral. My aunties had told her not to, perhaps sensing that something strange might happen, but she refused to sleep elsewhere due to the shortage of beds in the main section of the house. She remembers waking up some time after midnight with a strong feeling that someone was in the room. Obviously there was no one there that she could see, but she couldn’t shake off the feeling and decided to go back to bed. Again, she woke up a few minutes later, but this time she felt as though someone was touching her blanket and rearranging it. My mother was quite scared and refused to open her eyes, believing that if she did, she would see someone, or something, staring back at her. She remained still for the next few minutes and at one point mentioned feeling as though she was being lifted up into the air. She told my aunties and uncles the next day what had happened, and everyone knew, without a doubt that my grandmother had come to visit her that night.
A few months later one of my uncle’s mentioned seeing the ghost of my grandmother in a field, she briefly spoke to him before disappearing right before his eyes. On another occasion, during Christmas 2008, a few friends of mine had gone to their cousins house to exchange gifts. A few moments later they could hear a noise coming from the direction of the Christmas tree, but upon closer inspection couldn’t find any objects making that noise. They shrugged it off and went to watch TV. They heard the noise again and decided to investigate once more. This time, in front of the Christmas tree stood a small red toy car that had not been there moments before. One of my friends picked up the toy car for a closer inspection and after seeing nothing wrong with it, placed it back down on the floor. When the car hit the floor, it slowly moved to the left before remaining still. They had all seen the car move, so another friend picked it up to check the batteries. He was freaked out when he realized that the toy car did not actually have any batteries inside. He threw it on the floor and stood a few steps back. About a minute later, they heard the strange noise from before, but this time realized that it was actually the toy car making the noise. They ran over to the car and witnessed the car moving around as if someone was playing with its remote control. Suddenly it stopped again before slightly moving to the right. At this stage they knew that perhaps a ghost was in the house and decided to play a little game to learn more about it.
One of my friends began to ask a question out loud and asked that whatever was in the room with them, to move the toy car. Immediately the car moved from side to side and they all began to freak out. The questions continued until finally one of the boys said out loud “if you are going to leave us alone now, move the car to the left”. The car did not move and remained still for a while regardless of the other questions that followed. The boys then ran out of the room, realizing what was happening and coming to the conclusion that this strange thing in the room would no longer leave them alone. A few strange things happened after that, but I will continue the story later.

Cool! This is one of the few stories I have read here that comes across as real!
Amazing isn’t it? When you see things like that it’s just unexplainable and amazing.
Seems like grandma is messing around. Hopefully, they have learned to accept that she will always be there.
This is a good storie really scary!
I guess grandmas guna always be around no matter what…
I think u guys saw ur grandmother iz becuz u guys r still thinkin bout her and u cant leave her in peace.
No i dont think so, we accepted her passing a long time ago, so its not right to say “we cant leave her in peace”. Of course we still think about her, she obviously meant a lot to us.
maybe she wants to watch over u to make sure ur ok and the car was a gift?
