Black Shadow Figure Sleep Paralysis

In my mothers side of the family they get premonitions when people die. I can’t remember if anything happened to me before 8, but I do remember that I was always terrified of the dark and being alone. At that time I also participated in a few games of Ouija. (Ouija Board).

We moved to another country and when I was around 12 I started to wake up and then there was a black shadow figure right next to my bed. This happened about 3 times that year and I was only mildly paralyzed and not afraid at that moment. I don’t know why, but I always tried to reach out and touch it, then fell asleep. My mother says she saw it in my bedroom’s doorway once when she went to the bathroom.

My Grandmothers Cousin

Hey, so this is my first time posting on here. This story isn’t really “scary” or the kind that gives you chills.

I’m 19 now, but I’ve had some paranormal/spirit experiences since I was 2. I used to talk to my grandfather who passed away when I was 7 months old. He came back to check on me, and once in a while I’ll feel like he’s still watching over me.

This story isn’t about my grandfather though. It’s about my grandmother’s cousin. My grandmother and her cousin were the same age, so they were really close. He died when they were 8 back in 1928. On the day of his funeral, my grandmother was outside playing dolls with one of her friends and she went into her room to get something. Is Amanda Imaginary?

Well… I guess I should start when the house my family lives in now was being built. I was in the place where my room now is. I just randomly felt like I was being watched and I got really cold. For the rest of the day I had a very bad head ache (let me tell you now. I have terrible spelling, so bare with me.)

A little while after we moved in I got an ‘imaginary’ friend. She has dark brown hair and dark eyes. Wore a simple white dress that flows around her. She didn’t have a name she wanted, so even to this day I call her Amanda. I was almost 7. She looked around my age.

What I Thought Was a Ghost Was an Alien

Back in 1994, I was living in sun valley California in a trailer park off of San Fernando Road. I suppose it all started when I fell asleep as a watched T.V at my friends house whom I lived next door to. I woke up suddenly as a voice in my head said get out. I remember the evil feeling I got from it and left right away. My friend had went to bed and left me sleeping there.

About two weeks later my friend and I where leaving my trailer to go get something to eat. As I waited for him to unlock his door to his truck, A voice that was very clear said to me, ” Waiting, waiting for you”. I had a strong sense of evil as the hairs stood up on my neck. My Child Saw Death

In April of 2009 my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and in November she started an extensive cancer treatment of chemo and meds. My daughters and I moved in with my parents about 3 months prior to her diagnosis. Soon after my mother started her treatments, my youngest daughter who was only 22 months at the time, started to tell my mother and I that she could see a woman in the apartment across from us. Please keep in mind that the apartment was not being leased at the time so there was no one living there.

She described the woman as being dressed in black, with black hair and my daughter would always tell my mom that she was calling her telling her that she was coming for her and my mother. My daughter said that she could see her pacing in the apartment like she was waiting for something and that she could sometimes see her standing …

The Man In The Closet

This “haunting” was one of many sightings that my family and I have seen. Things of this nature always seems to find us it makes me wonder if something is wrong with us, if it is the same thing following us or if its just in our imaginations.

Well first let me tell you a little about my family. I have an 11 year old son and my husband. My son and I have always had a sense for things. I believe it was a gift from my mothers side. Once these events started to unfold I started asking around and found were not the only ones in our direct family that has these different senses.

Our little Guardian Angel

I don’t know what to think about this dream my boyfriend has had since he was a  teenager. Two or three times a week he dreams that he’s driving on along an icy road and he’s mad about something. In his dream he looks down to see how fast he’s going and still remembers the way the dash looks and the mileage 111,498. When he looks up he sees a truck sliding on the road up ahead. He slides into the side of the truck then the car starts rolling. And he blacks out. When he wakes up he’s in the hospital but he sees himself in the bed and someone holding his hand and crying. There are two little boys next to him and another women sitting in the chair. Then it fades away. The dream feels so real.  He has had this dream a few times a week for 11 years.

Uncle Fred Comes for a Visit

My Uncle Fred died when I was 6, he was my grandma’s brother and was the greatest prankster ever. I really miss him to this day. I am 23 now and this story takes place almost 3 years ago.

My daughter Emily was about 2 1/2 and was in her room just talking away one day to what seemed to be her stuffed animals, so I go in and ask who she is talking to. “The funny man”, she says. I thought she had an imaginary friend, but as she began telling me about him, I began to wonder. She said he has “black hair and glasses like daddy”. Really, I ask, what else? She then says “He is wearing a yellow shirt and he says to tell you hello. So I said to tell him hello back and went about my day.

North Marion School Haunt

About a year ago on October 30th I was asked to take a student into the school’s auditorium for a Ghost Hunt. Normally nothing happens and I shrug it off as a joke. This time was different for some reason I still don’t know about, much different. The student I was with, Austin, seemed to attract the school’s ghosts. There had been rumors for years that the school was built over a mine shaft where people died in, a burial mound for Native Americans, and a student had hung himself and now haunts the school. It seems now that all of these were true.

We had been sitting down in the eighth row down from the top and just watched fro anything at first there was nothing but then everything went haywire.

Toy Stormy and the Forbidden Closet

I recall spending many nights with my grandmother at her old farmhouse when I was a child. My mother worked and attended classes to further her education, and my own father was hardly ever there for my sister and I. I can clearly recall playing with my Matchbox cars on the cold linoleum kitchen floor, as well as laying in a circle with Grandma and my sister playing outdated board games. Memories also arise of learning how to play obscure card games, and being granted permission to swear around Grandma at such an early age.

However, my most vivid, inerasable, recollections are of times when I ventured to the abandoned top floor of my grandmother’s aged house. The day that my grandfather died in his bed, the second floor had been abruptly deserted. My grandmother no longer slept upstairs, nor did she bother dusting the second floor.  It basically became shut off and used only for storage. It was empty, …

Held Down

I’m not sure what to make of what happened early this morning, but in our spare bedroom both myself, my father and on one occasion my friend and my boyfriend have experienced sounds of footsteps. My dad has actually seen the figure of a tall man dressed in black cross the landing from the living room to the spare bedroom.

My boyfriend left early for work at 6:30 this morning. After he’d gone I soon fell asleep only to be woken up an hour or so later by a very strange feeling not long after my parents had woken up for work. I was lying on my left side and all of my body except for my left arm was underneath my duvet. Hi there here’s my story of my experiences with spirits. The first time I ever saw a ghost that I can remember was when I was 13ish so 10 years ago now, I was ill so had spent a couple of days sleeping it off in bed I was finally getting over the bug and was watching TV in bed one night when I laid back onto the pillows something caught my eye on the ceiling I looked up and there was a face looking down at me.
