Haunted Work Place?

I am going to start off with the history of this place. Well, in 1995 the store was built as a Krispy Kremes, and for ten years it stayed that way, after people had decided to close it down (by the way the store was real successful.) It stayed vacant.

Well to give you a description of what the area looks like across the street from it on the left is Gate gas station, it stands in front of a mini mall, and straight across from it is a Checkers, and it has an intersection in the area.

In 2001 near my graduation a friend of mine wreck his motorcycle at the intersection and was killed. Well it is and has been for the last two years a Whataburger that I was employed at for a while nothing happened…

Some Sort of Shadow Creature?

I’ve had a few weird experiences in my life, but I tend to forget things easily. I’m kind of an airhead, and have always endured playful teasing about my forgetfulness. About two months ago, though, I had an experience that is refusing to leave me alone.

I thought maybe I had just been seeing things when I noticed it, but the longer I thought about it, the more it unsettled me. I was driving home on a back road that I use frequently. In fact, a lot of people use it frequently – it’s almost not even a back road anymore because the area I live in is really growing in size and population.

On the road, there are a few farms and a daycare, and on the left you’d come up on a big plaza with a grocery store, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, some gas stations and such. At the intersection at the end of this road is a major highway …

Little Girl in the Dress

I have been living in my house for a little over a year now. The first night my family moved into the house, my sister, who was seven at the time, stood in the middle of the dining room crying and saying that she saw something, but refused to tell us what she had seen. Other than that, nothing happened for a while.

After a while, I felt the need to close and lock the basement door, and check it every time I walked by. We later found an axe in it.

Every night since I’ve lived here, I’ll wake up to some sort of continuous noise, whether it be tapping on the walls or my mirror, or tiny footsteps. Many nights, I’ll hear fast-paced whispering coming from the side of my bed, near my closet.

My Encounter with Demons and Spirit Attachments

What I have written is about what I have experienced and learned about demons and spirit attachments.

I struggled for years to find a definition for it as I believed my health problems were all unconnected. I did not make a connection between some of my afflictions and my attachment or that they were spiritually induced e.g. Premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, mental breakdowns, tinnitus, general tiredness and irritability. It lay hidden in the background afflicting me with all sorts of diseases and discomforts.

It took me a lot of introspection and the more terrible expression of this spirit on my being for me to ‘wise up’ to it. It took its more violent expression after years of mind games where it played a spirit guide/holy spirit. The bible teaches that the holy spirit communicates to us through dreams and visions and so this spirit spoke to me with false dreams, false visions and for a period of over 20 years.…

Multiple Sightings of a Hooded Figure

Hello everybody. My girlfriend and I are a non-religious couple who truly believe in the paranormal.

Things have happened to myself (Aaron) in the past that are unexplainable, some happy, some warm, some disturbing, but what is happening in our relationship at the moment has us both a little puzzled.

My girlfriend and I share a room. Recently I have grown rather frustrated and angry with my university studies, I hardly sleep, and my body aches through the night.

My girlfriend claims that whenever I return home from uni in a rather un-positive mood, at some point during the night she will see a ghostly apparition in the shape of a hooded figure, standing about the height of the average teenager.

She has only seen this apparition 3 times in the past month, and says she feels in no way threatened by it, but almost as though it wants her to know it is there.

The Glowing Eyes

As a small child (maybe 5 or so) I had an encounter that would change my life. I had a bedroom that was pitch-black, just as I liked it.  One night I found myself laying in bed in the middle of the night, as if I had just woken up. I was on my back and I had an urge to look over to my left, where my entire room was, including the windows on the far wall. (My bed was against the wall on the right.)

So I looked over and in the darkness, I saw two glowing eyes that were watching me. They were orange or golden. There were no pupils or details that I saw; they were just two glowing golden shapes of eyes. They were large, and much bigger than human eyes, which are tiny in comparison. Whistling Ghost in Virginia?

I retired from the U.S. Army in July of 1991 and returned to Virginia to start a residence. While looking for a job and a residence I rented a room, which was a finished basement. I found a job at a previous employer that I had worked on a part-time basis while I was stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

I got up one morning and was preparing to go to work, the owner of the townhouse had gone to work a couple of hours before. I was shaving and from time to time whistling, nothing in particular, made up notes. After one series of notes I stopped and a few seconds later I heard the exact string of notes from outside the bathroom. This startled me and I asked “who’s there”, no reply, not bothering to wipe my face I quickly opened the door and again asked who’s there.

Many of the fears that most of faced as children involved “things” like ghosts and monsters. Some of the scariest creatures imagined were more likely to be thought of as creations of humans rather than being of supernatural origin. Even still, a creature such as a golem or a “Frankenstein’s Monster” is very often thought of as being demonic or “of the Devil”. The idea was that such constructs could not have a soul from God therefore the life they feigned must have come from something evil.

Man-Made Monsters is full of interesting information and tidbits about the monsters that have been created by mankind ~ at least in our minds, myths and lore. I am sure there are those who believe the story of the so-called Frankenstein monster was based more in truth than others. And perhaps there was more …

When I was about 9 (I am 26 now). My gran and granddad had about 5 Yorkshire terriers and even bred them a few times.I used to live on a small holding (small farm), me, my sister and my parents lived up stairs and my granddad, gran and her brother lived down stairs.

I was downstairs with my granddad and uncle all the Yorkshire terriers were in and lounging about the place on chairs. I had been talking (god knows what about), but I stopped and watched one of the yorkies staring into space.

They say you always remember your first love, but after what happened, I will never be able to forget her.

Back in the late 1800’s, “old money” gave way to “new money” and many rich families lost all that they had. Most lost everything, but some were able to hold on to what little bit they had left and for the most part that meant their homes. Those with large expansive mansions turned many of the rooms into “apartments” and they rented these out to guests. The “guests” consisted mainly of other old money, those who had lost it all. Of those who had smaller homes, they divided them in half and sold or rented the other half.

I grew up in one those homes with a large porch that ran the length of the front of the house with no divider. So every day I saw the beautiful 14 year old girl who lived next to me.

My Grandmother’s Ghost?

Throughout my childhood I remembered experiencing various paranormal encounters. But there is one that really stands out in my mind. I must have been 6 or 7 years old when this encounter happened. My grandmother died about 4 years before this happened. I was in Costa Rica in my grandmother’s house which was now my aunt’s house. My brother and my aunt were in the kitchen and I was playing with some toy cars that I had left in the house before my mom, my brother, and me moved to New York.We came to Costa Rica to visit for the summer.

Night Terrors

I believe it happened sometime in November when the movie Emily Rose was in the Roxy Theater. My boyfriend and my dad and a few other friends came to see the spooky truths of the past. Now, if any of you have seen this movie you know it is down right frightening! I’ve never been the kind of person to get scared of anything. I was literally afraid of nothing. It was during the movie when I felt a cord being struck inside me. I wondered… how could this girl live with such torment all those days? See faces shift before her eyes in broad daylight!? I couldn’t live like that. No way.
