My Girlfriend Saw Dead People

I’m sure everyone’s had that nightmare date or something similar happen to them. This one happened to me a couple years ago in the fall when I was living in some apartments in a neighboring city to the one I grew up in.

A nice girl in the congregation for the church I attend who a roommate was interested in had taught a lesson during church and I gave an innocent compliment at some function later that same day that suddenly made her realize that I existed, so she dropped the zero and started flirting with the hero. This made my roommate pretty jealous that she lost interest in him over me (This is what happens when you put SOCOM as a higher priority than women). Needless to say we didn’t spend much time over in my apartment since he acted jealous any time he thought of the two of us together.

Alone in the Kitchen

Ok I have a short story. This takes place back in the mid 50’s with my great grandmother. She was a very religious woman, therefore I have no reason not to believe this story.

At that time my great grandfathers aunt Ellie lived with them and was pretty well confined to her room as she was in her 80’s and her mind was almost gone. Aunt Ellie had a sister (Mildred) that lived in Iowa. Mildred had been in failing health for awhile and passed away in her sleep. After a discussion my great grand parents decided not to tell aunt Ellie because they were afraid that if she understood what they were telling her then the heartbreak of losing her last remaining sister might be too much for her.

Poltergeist Activity or Something More

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for submitting stories. I enjoy reading everyone’s personal experiences because I have had quite a few beginning when I was a small child. But this is not about then. I had my most recent experience this evening. I apologize in advance for how long this story is.

I injured my back in January of 2010 in a car accident, and sometimes the only relief I can get is by taking a hot bath for hours at a time. Sometimes it can get a bit boring, so I take a kitchen chair and place my laptop next to the claw-foot tub, I usually read stories from TrueGhostTales.com.

One Crazy Night

What Was It?

I’m fairly new to this, and I have never submitted a story here, but I have read a lot and finally decided to post a few of my own experiences. I do not know how relevant they will be, but I will be grateful for opinions.

Not exactly something scary or exciting as what I had read, but it happened, and I’m an open person.

About two years ago, my boyfriend passed away. It was a hard time for me, especially after the funeral. Now, I lived in his house with his mom, and three brothers and used his/our room.

Shadowy Figure in the Bedroom

Hello all, After reading all the stories people have put up I decided to recall if I had anything past memories or “hauntings”.  Now I’m not a full skeptic but most of the stories I read I tend to think are made up. (Most likely because I don’t really want to experience it first hand). But enough of that and more to my own experience.

My memory begins living in my old house in North Mankato, Minnesota. I was around 10 or 11 at the time, I’m currently 20 now. I cannot recall exactly when I began to see this shadowy figure in my room, but from when I first saw it till the time my family moved I saw it every night at exactly 1 am. I shared a bunk bed with my older brother, who always wanted top bunk, which left me with the bottom.

House on Green Sreet

This happened a few years ago at a house on Green St. in Spokane. My boyfriend and his brother moved into this house together, and when I came over the first time, I got a really uneasy feeling about the place. I have always been sensitive to spirits, not really able to see them, but I can sense them, and I can usually tell if they are positive energy or negative energy.

Anyway, the house in itself looked creepy.  Even before I entered into the house I was getting feelings of wanting to go away.  My boyfriend just told me that I was being a baby about it, so I stayed. My mom is 34 years old, and she just had her first child. It was a beautiful girl named Brianna. Brianna was about 5 months old when she had her second child. It was a boy named Tyler.

After Tyler learned to walk we moved into a beautiful home. It was a blue house with a dark green roof and a beautiful front garden. So we unpacked and got settled in. Neal Hurt the Baby

This happened about three years ago, when my uncle Dave first moved into the house on main street. His daughter Dani lived with him, and her 2 year old daughter, Jaylyn.

A lot of weird things happened in that house. When Jaylyn wasn’t home, and if you sat in the living room, perfectly quiet, you could hear little bare feet running through the house, and a baby crying. Jaylyn was the only baby on the block, so it wasn’t coming from the neighbor’s house. Jaylyn would have full conversations with someone we couldn’t see, not if you looked for them. If we asked her who she was talking to, she’d simply say, “The baby.”

Now, Jaylyn was the only baby in the house, an only child, so we figured there was a ghost that she made friends with. No big deal, you know?

This is a continuation of the Haunted House in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, a true story.

I had been continuing to hear noises in the house everything from foot steps above every floor that I was on to items being moved around. Even though I was alone in the house, it felt like I was being watched by someone who stayed just out of sight. The Evil Jezebel Spirit

It’s 4 o’clock in the morning and I’m looking for answers… I’m trying to make sense of what happened to me tonight.

I’m no stranger to evil things… evil spirits, demons, ghosts. I’m only 19 but I’ve seen things that many others have not and will never see.

This year I feel much closer to God after realizing I was followed and tormented by demons for years. Just when I believed I was free of that in my life I discover they are still out to get me and my family – I discovered what I’ve been suspecting – my mom has an evil entity attached to her. Niece’s Elves Come to Life at Night

I recently got to visit with my niece and family for about an hour. (I’m keeping identities vague and anonymous on purpose.) My niece is 7 and she started telling me about how her 3 plush elves come to life sometimes at night, usually around midnight, and then they cause “mischief.”

Everything can be explained away as a child’s active imagination; however, she ONLY has such stories about her plush elves. None of her other toys or figures come to life, she says, only the elves. She has talked about them causing mischief over the years, actually, and she has never told such a story about anything other than the elves.

At the last visit, there had been a vase of flowers spilled all over the kitchen table, and my niece assured me that one of her elves did it, late at night, when she was sleeping. She had to clean it up when she got up in the morning.…
