Mysterious Little Man Talked With My Nephew

Once my sister was being bothered by a “little man” that she saw several times. She even woke up in one of those sleep paralysis things and saw him in the closet by her bed.

A few days later her son, who was about 5 years old, was in the bath tub. She was in the kitchen and she heard him talking like he was talking to someone. Curious, she went to the door and listened. He was talking “up a storm” and pausing as though he were having a conversation with someone.

She walked into the bathroom almost expecting someone else to be in there. When she asked her son who it was he had been talking to he pointed and said “that little man” he then looked surprised and said, “He’s gone!”

I Saw the Devil

When I was about 4 or 5 I use to have nightmares and ever since I grew up, but then one night I had woke up and saw the devil standing right by my bed but I wasn’t scared at all. It was about 7 feet tall and it was a dark red color, but anyway, it stared at me. We both were staring at each other in silence. He had a mean look on his face. After I seen him all my nightmares stopped. It’s pretty strange.

I told my mother about it. She said that she believed me because the devil had always wanted me since I was little. She says that when I was little there was this girl that was standing at my crib reading something like roses are red and something from a blue book.

Was the Moon Landing a Hoax?

Did man really land on the moon in the 1960′s? Or was it all a hoax? When it comes to conspiracy theories the Moon Landing Hoax is among the widest held. A plethora of books and articles have been written both in favor and in dispute of a hoax being perpetrated.

There seems to be a lot of evidence, including the refelections in the helmet in the photo to the left,  that indicate some sort of hoax to do with the Apollo missions.

I remember my grandfather telling me many years ago that the moon landing footage was shot in some desert and that we had not made it to the moon.

Naturally, I just thought he was eccentric or ignorant. Since then I’m not so sure. It may be possible that at least some of the footage, photos and audio recordings were faked.

Do You Know a Real Witch?

Do you know a real witch? Most of us would answer ‘no’ to that question and many others may reply with a yes and be mistaken.

When a Child’s Imaginary Friend is an Actual Ghost

“They” say it is quite normal perhaps even average for a young child to create an imaginary friend. Experts disagree as to exactly why children do this but all agree that it happens. Perhaps the child who envisions their own imaginary friend just needs someone that will listen to them or provide them with company.

There is a lot of evidence that indicates that at least some of these imaginary friends aren’t so imaginary. What would you think if I told you it were possible for that imaginary friend to be an actual ghost or entity?

Big Foot and Other Monsters

Do you believe in the existence of a creature known as Big Foot? How could such a large creature exist in today’s world without being well documented? These creatures are so elusive that they have rarely been reported. However, there have been quite a few reports of people seeing a Big Foot. No one has been able to catch one or even find the remains of a dead one.

Similar creatures have been seen in other parts of the world. Some may call it a Yeti or Sasquatch or other name.

Big Foot isn’t the only strange creature that has been seen. There are many other “monsters” among us.

Waverly Hills Sanitarium The Haunted Hospital

One of the most well known haunted “hot” spots is the Waverly Hills Sanitarium in Louisville, Kentucky. Back in the early 1900′s the Louisville area was experiencing the highest rate of tuberculosis infections in the country.

Most patients who went to the Waverly Hills Sanitarium were doomed to stay there until their death. The bodies of the dead were transported through tunnels to the bottom of the hill from where they were taken away and burned.

After the discovery of the tuberculosis vaccine the Waverly Hills Sanitarium was closed down. It was converted into a convalescence home in 1962 but was closed due to alleged abuse of patients in 1982.

There have been many reports or paranormal activity at the old hospital including multiple sightings of an elderly lady running from the hospital bleeding and begging for help. Spooky indeed!

The Unseen Ghost

My wife and I lived in an old farm house in the country from 2000 – 2006. In the living room there were four large crank out style windows that overlooked the driveway below. We would always hear noises that sounded like car doors opening and closing. The noise was so distinct that it would make us go and look down on the driveway to see if anybody was there, but there was never anyone there. We would also hear footsteps through the house, but nobody else was there.

We told people about it and of course they didn’t believe us or they said we had over active imaginations. Why Do We Carve Jack-O-Lanterns for Halloween?

Have you ever wondered where we got the idea to carve Jack-O-Lanterns for Halloween? The tradition actually came to us from Irish/Celtic mythology. This particular legend had to do with a man known as Stingy Jack.

Stingy Jack made a deal with the Devil that left him in a bad situation upon his death. Stingy Jack was unable to enter either Heaven or Hell and so was doomed to spend eternity in between.

In the beginning  jack-o-lanterns were carved mainly from turnips, but the Irish also used gourds, potatoes, rutabagas and even beets.

Haunted Log Cabin Antique Store in Morehead Ky

My wife and I visited an old log cabin in Morehead Kentucky this past weekend. This log cabin was used many years ago as an antique store. The people who owned it also lived there. According to a lot of stories I have heard the place is haunted. Supposedly a multiple murder happened there some years back involving an axe.

According to the ‘story’ a woman and either her daughter or niece was attacked there. The woman was murdered, hacked to death with an axe. The daughter’s (or niece’s) son had made a dash to the bathroom and climbed out the window and ran for help.

His mother survived, but just barely. The people haven’t opened the old shop since. This story was on America’s most wanted because the murderer was wanted in several states.
