Sounds like a classic case of sleep paralysis.

The symptoms of sleep paralysis include sensations of noises, smells, levitation, paralysis, terror, and images of frightening intruders. Once considered very rare, about half of all people are now believed to experience sleep paralysis sometime during their life.

Also known as “OLD HAG SYNDROME”, The name of the phenomenon comes from the superstitious belief that a witch – or an old hag – sits or “rides” the chest of the victims, rendering them immobile. Although that explanation isn’t taken very seriously nowadays, the perplexing and often very frightening nature of the phenomenon leads many people to believe that there are supernatural forces at work – ghosts or demons.

Wow! Thats realy scary!!!
I saw that movie when I was 14 or 15 and it scared me. I couln’d sleep that night.

I read that ghosts like the dark better because they can hide. I think you must have had two ghosts in your house. One that was tryying to get help the one who was turning on the water. The other one who was in your basements and hurt your husband.

After reading the story i like you would never go down to a basement strange things happen in dark places they are better left alone let’shope when the house wen’t up so did the evil.

It’s probably a good job you did move.

It’s amazing that you saw this dark energy over your husband. Putting the blessed water around the window is probably what caused this evil to stay away, otherwise you could have had serious problems.

Do you still see ghosts or has it stopped since you moved? You seem to have a sensitive side to the paranormal, which may be with you wherever you go.
