Such a classic, great story. I tried to google Mr. Harris with no success as well, but then i tried to google a suicide i knew of to no avail. Google did know about 602 E Eldon Pl., so the whole thing works, love it to death.

LOVED IT AND WILL KEEP READING IT AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! Although i agree very much with AJ residual haunting! But just like him it was a fantastic story i would read again and again and ill tell my children this story on halloween to scare them 2!!!

I read it to my wife and we loved it and if i had more time i woulld read more of them all the time this one scared me out of my pants!!! i loved it so did my wife thanks for the fantastic story!!!

Thanks everyone for the posts. Yes–it is a true story. Mr. Harris did kill his wife and then commit suicide. I even have a copy of the newspaper article. I’d really love to know if the current tenants have had any experiences themselves.
