I am a girl studying in the tenth std. This recently happened about a day ago and I want to share my story with you. My grandfather was a very ill man (he had severe asthma) and he could not even rise from his bed in the last days. He lived with us and we only came in his room when he called. Mostly it was me as I am elder than my sister.
I also came for one sole reason, to make his watch five minutes fast every evening I came. I used to come into his room, he used to be able to see me only during that time. My grandfather passed away about half a month ago. He used to hold that clock of his very dear as it was given to him by his teammates at school football team. Sometimes my father would recommend buying a new clock but he was too attached to that old clock of his. My grandmother had confided in me a long time ago that it was my grandfather who used to make the clock five minutes slow so he could see me come into his room.
The rites started and we forgot all about that clock. Three days after his death I walked back into the room to find something I had lost and I chanced to look at the clock. IT WAS FIVE MINUTES SLOW AGAIN!
I set it right and went back out. Three days after that I had to go back into his room for some rite or the other and again I looked at that watch. It was five minutes slow! Also the night before and the night on which he died a black cat was heard howling. I know because it woke me up and I got quite a good look at it. Its one ear was eaten. I have seen all the cats of the society and this one I had never seen. On the 13 day after his death the black cat appeared again. This was the day when his soul was supposed to become free.
Just a day before that I had fixed that watch again. But this time when I got back to his room, the watch was slow again. Since then however neither has the black cat showed up,nor has the watch ever strayed from its timetable. Every three days I go back into his room to fix that watch and whenever I don’t a feeling of being haunted comes over to me and immediately I make my way back into the room. So what do you think?

i think thats sweet,i know your grandfather did that just so he can see you coming in.thats just what i think. thats a good story.i am so sorry to hear him passing.i have tears in my eyes.its not good to loose loved ones.maybe the black cat it could of been him too maybe just to see you.thakns for the story and let us know if anything else happens.

That is a wonderful story. Your Grandpa will always be with you in spirit, and im sure he loves the idea of you taking care of his watch for him. My Dad who passed away over 6 years ago was also a watch and clock man. He just loved them all. We have many things happen with Dad’s old clocks, as we have kept them all. Just little visits now and then, nothing to be afraid of. Your Grandpa is just letting you know that he is happy and healthy now, thats all. No worries!!!!
