My Daughter Sees Things I Can’t

Posted on March 6, 2011

My name is Becca. I have a 9 year old daughter who I love very much. But there is something quite wrong… in her spare time, she acts like somebody is in her room and she talks to them. They are always the same people, the most often ‘people’ she talks to is a little girl named Mishka and a young woman named Regina.

When my daughter, Brianna, was 6 yrs old we moved into a house on Washington Street, Hanover, MA. I was a single mother with Brianna and our dog, Hershey, a chocolate Newfoundland.

Brianna started seeing things about a week after we moved in. Me and Brianna had doors facing each other from each wall on the second floor, but Brianna claims the light was on and there was somebody walking on the second floor but for that night to me, the lights were off and things were peaceful and quiet.

A few days later, Brianna told me at breakfast that she made a new friend named Mishka who had came to live with us. I knew on no circumstances that the only little girls Brianna knew where from first grade and her own cousins. Brianna told me that Mishka was from a place called ‘Russia’ and that her parents had woken her up in the middle of the night. Even though Mishka was supposedly alive, (to Mishka) her parents kept screaming, “Mishka! Wake up! Please! Mishka! Hurry! Wake up! Oh no, she’s DEAD!”

I think I understand. To Mishka, she woke up and was talking and screaming, “I’m alive!” but to her parents, she was dead and in her bed, not talking or moving.

Later, Brianna told me that Mishka said her parents were ignoring her after the frightful morning that I just explained that happened to Mishka. Her parents were ‘pretending’ that she was dead and ignoring her, and not even giving her meals. Her mother was crying and her father was saying it would be alright.

Sooner or later, they moved out and it was supposedly to ‘forget’ the horrible accident that happened to Mishka, the one that Mishka claims is not true.

Brianna later told me Mishka would appear at random moments and say, “Hurry! I think my mommy is here!” but that only happened when I was near.

Looking back, I laugh. Mishka thought I was her parent and she was trying to reclaim me and.. you get the point.

Brianna told me that Mishka was a nice girl, and she looked perfectly normal and healthy when she was happy, but when she was angry she was loud, mean, and bloody and had ‘boo boos’ on her face. It made me think that Brianna was experiencing things that did not seem normal.

Brianna one day went screaming to me, her hair stained with blood, that Mishka had bit her head and threw up blood while biting Brianna.

The blood proved it, I don’t think a 6 year old little girl would have the genius mind to buy fake blood and come up with that.

I took Brianna to the hospital and doctors told me it seemed like a tiger bite, but the bacteria that was released from the blood did not match any kind of animal or human.

One day, me and Brianna went out and got a puppy not too long after Brianna had the ‘ghost bite’. The puppy was Hershey, the dog we have now.

Only a few hours after Hershey arrived, Hershey was crying and had a bite on his back. Brianna said that Mishka did not like dogs and that she decided she needed ‘dispose of it’.

Then I called in a exorcist and his name was Mike. Mike told me that ‘Mishka’ should be gone pretty soon. The paranormal activity did not stop until a week later.

Before the paranormal activity stopped, Mishka decided to fill the bathtub with blood to scare me as a ‘joke’ and she wanted Brianna to ‘donate’ half of the blood so that Brianna could help her.

Brianna came crying to me that Mishka had cut her belly with a knife when Brianna refused to give her the blood. She told me that Mishka was mean and she did not want to be her friend anymore.

Later, Mishka was gone completely. And that’s the story I could never tell without crying in the middle of it, or fearing that Mishka would return.
