One of my very close family members had just passed away, I was sitting in my room and all of a sudden his face pops up on my wall. I thought I was just seeing things so I shook my head and closed my eyes and told myself it wasn’t real.
When I opened my eyes and looked his face was still there so I asked “Is anyone there?”, but no one answered me. So I asked again “Hello, is anyone there?” and finally he replied “Yes Melanie, it’s me Timmy don’t you remember me?” And I asked him why he was there at my house talking to me and he told me in the sweetest tone “I am here to watch over you and make sure you are always safe!”
I didn’t know what to say then, but I continued to talk with him for hours and he told me everything that he had went through until God finally took all his pain away and let him go home. I miss my cousin but I am happy he came to me in the after life and told me that he loved me and that he was watching over me.
After that night I was never the same and I never told anyone, but I thought it would be nice to share it with someone. To this day I haven’t talked to Timmy again but if I one day get the chance I would love to tell him “Thank you Timmy for being there when I had no one and for listening to me and helping me with my problems, also for helping me cheat death a couple times.” He saved my life.
He was 19 when he died, he had a whole life ahead of him but God called and he answered. In Loving Memory of Timothy Shane Gunter. Love always Melanie Constantine
I don’t want anyone to be scared of my story. It was meant to show people that those who die don’t always go away their soul may be stuck here until they let their self go. After that night I believe Timmy did and I feel honored to have been the one he shared his last works with.
