This story happened about three years ago. My wife and I were looking for a house to rent for a while. We had no luck and the last cheap rental house was a nice looking two story house. The owner wanted an interview(quite strange really) and he told us that he wanted a reliable person/people who will stay in the house a reasonable time. He said people would stay in the house for two months and run off.
One week later we moved into our house, the house felt welcoming, we had a welcome party and all our family thought it was welcoming and my brother stayed in the spare room. He left in the early morning for work. After about three weeks the house started to feel more and more a bit dark. I thought it was nothing and ignored it. And on that fateful day after returning to work I saw a man standing at the doorway. I thought I was imagining things. I thus ignored it.
The next day after the sighting I got down with something and phoned work to say I couldn’t come in today. After I took a paracetomol I heard a laughing coming from the hallway, I walked to the hallway and saw nothing. I was sick for a week.
Over the days and weeks I was targeted by a thing I didn’t even know that they existed. Over them days and weeks I saw black mist especially in my baby’s room. I heard people arguing, one time one of my wife’s childhood toys broke.
I thought I have had enough of this, now I didn’t go to church but I did believe in god. I asked a priest to exorcise my home. He agreed and performed a great exorcism. For four weeks I was relieved and I thought I can continue with my life once again. I was wrong…
I was raking when I heard my wife scream, I panicked and ran into the house and she said a “thing” had picked up our baby, I said you should move in with your mother for a while. So I was alone and wasn’t scared but eerie.
While I was sleeping I heard something banging so I walked to down and saw two people arguing madly! The woman was being assaulted. I said “oi what are you two doing in here!” and then them two people faded away and I felt a sense of dread. I thought Oh damn its back. I then I saw a figure split itself into five pieces and fly all over the room, one piece hit me and I felt a sting in my back, I had been cut along my back. I, after that incident admit that I started to cry, a grown man crying, I was terrified. I begged with it, as I was begging with it to stop I just felt it grow stronger. I was worried for my daughter and wife, but I thought what can a 24 year old do? I had an idea.
The next day I phoned my brother an eager psychic (I used to call him wacky because I used to believe psychics weren’t real) he said it was a growing demon feeding on your fear, and it was targeting you. I even got another psychic and he even said the same story! He said there was an argument in that house 20 years ago, I said back “But why is this demon so strong?” the psychic replied, “Because it feeds on everyone’s energy that passes through that house, it has terrorized all the tenants.”
A week later my wife and I moved out the house, we were in the house for four months, and I had an experience that I never want to experience again.
This story is real and contains no fictional material. I cant wait to read your comments and what you think.

Wow that is so freaky ibelieve it too i can tell wen sumthings lying an ur not
iv heard stories of this type of case now im just 17 but i know enough to know that like you said its feeding on your fear butyou said you believe in god so do i and i believe if you can kneel before god you can sttand before anyone and anything dont let it feed off you show no fear and if it picked up your baby whos innocent then it seriosly need to get taken care of idk how to get rid of them but i know if you dont it will follow you whereever you go it will just get worse but have faith dont give up you need to face this being head on and may god take care of your unwanted friend : )
I don’t know sound alot like the amyteville horror, and if not if it was possessed or haunted you would of felt that the minute you walked in, it’s not like they were waiting for you, as far as the baby being picked up, I don’t think that possible……………………sorry but I kind of don’t believe this story!
P.S. Did the landlord ever ask why you moved out??

Wow. Fantastic story. I am so glad you got out of there. There is so much evil in this world that it’s best to put your and your family’s safety first.
Did you tell the landlord what was going on? And if so, was he aware of it?
i believe this because i seen shows like this about how things happened like that and it really scared and i kno it was true so yeah
I believed that these kinds of spirits couldn’t interact with objects in our plane of existence. However, after visiting many websites I’ve read many accounts that surprised me. I read that there was a young child (10 maybe) that was putting up posters in his room in their new home, and what appeared to be a ghost of a man yelled at the boy and then slapped him. The child ran to the parents, still showing a swollen hand print where the boy was hit. There are numerous other accounts of this sort of thing.
Seriously, I would recommend getting a minister or priest to bless the house…, or even possibly an exorcisim. I still don’t know how all this works, but I always call on Jesus for divine protection, and I am still in one piece.

Anyways. Since you don’t live there anymore, do you mind giving more detail on its location? I am always fascinated by what may be out there. Can your wife also be more specific on picking up the baby? I have never heard of such interaction before. very scary.

I don’ t know if it is a real true story telling the real truth, but I assure you that things like this do happen. Some friends of mine in Indonesia tend to battle those terrorizing demons first. And if they lost the battle, they will either have reinforcements ready or simply suggest the “terrorized” owner of the properties to move out.
Hey, we own the physical house, so if those demons (or perhaps just “naughty” wandering spirits) want a place to stay (in your physical house), then they have to learn how to give respect to other “tenants” (which are you and your family), or else….
(Well, these friends of mine do “drag” those evil spirits into ordinary glass bottles full of “energized” fresh water (believe it or not these bottles act as “maximum security jailhouses”), shut them, and dump them away in the forests, big rivers, seas, or simply “hard to reach” places….
However, please see if they are demons, or simply poor spirits trying to attract your helping hands. No mercy for demons, but have mercy on poor spirits (souls of dead persons still wandering on earth still unable to make their way to The Light)…

There is something about this story, I just don’t believe it. I am into the paranormal, I watch all the tv shows, read books and I have had several experiences but I have never in the 10 years I was involved in paranormal have I ever heard of a case when a spirit or demon picks up a baby and I have heard a lot of crazy stories and seen a lot of unexplainable things. i think you made it up good try though.

This strange i dont really know if i want to believe it or not.
you dont have to believe it, it may seem made up but its your opinion I dont mind, i just put my story out there so people can be aware of these things. I made a terribly mistake of lazing around and not doing anything about it!! Yes i told the landlord he was aware that something was happening but he didnt have enough details because all of the previous tenants had just left.
The guy who owns it is awaiting further examintaion of the house, he is getting demonoligists to investigate the house, I will reply when I get the news of the examination.
Sounds scary….. If there was a demon in my house i would have a pan on my head and a baseball bat in my hands! BRING IT ON DEMONS!!!!
Jonathan my wife said that she saw the baby cooing and she smiled at my daughter and went to pick her up and suddenly something like a mist clouded around the cot and the baby was lifted for only a second before being placed in the cot again luckily my wife screamed or else…
You need to trust God fully and show no fear, if you begin to feel fear then pray to God ask him for comfort and worship hime. Believe me this works.

you may not believe about the picked up baby, but if you remember carefully there are some of stories that tells demon haunts humans since they are so little, so why don’t they can’t pick up a baby. they might try to take away the baby or do something bad to it. if it’s demon than the possibility is high. I’m not an expert but i know they can do lots of crazy evil things that are unimaginable to human. demons pick up a baby isn’t that impossible. read comments by Carla Marie in “Black Figure Keeps Attacking and I Need Help” she told something about a boy baby was picked up by black figure. than he died the next day
