My little cousin, who is four years old, has been talking to imaginary friends. It all started when her mum moved into a new home.

When Mandy, the child’s mother, put her to bed she would hear her daughter talking to someone over the intercom then static and then her little girl talk, it was definitely a two way conversation. This would  freak Mandy out, new house and all.

My little cousin started talking to her friends, as she now calls them, at her grandmothers house and this is were the story gets a bit strange and near the end what I’m about to type is the truth and I don’t think I’ve ever had cold shivers run up and down my spine as I did when this story was told to me.

This night my cousin was staying at her grandmothers house, actually she did every weekend and on holidays. My cousin was staying in her grandmothers, whom is my auntie Elaine, this particular night will change the lives of many and make us believe that there is definitely something out there. My cousin again started talking to her friend up to the early hours of the morning. My auntie did not question her until the next morning. My auntie asked who she had been talking to last night she replied with the answer as if my auntie should of known, “Andrea, the little girl,” my cousin said.

My auntie was in shock and disbelief. How could she have known Andrea? She died 28 years before my cousin was born. Cot death at six months old. We never speak about my sister, not to each other and definitely not to anyone else either.

I believe she spoke to Andrea that night and it gives me comfort knowing that my sister is ok and that there is life after death.
