I usually avoid typing like you have when recounting a true story for on this site, for good reason that people will say: “She’s obviously a writer and is making this Up” the truth is, if and WHEN I do put my experiences into a book to be published I will take much greater care in the fashion of writing. When youre writing things for in a book, you aften have the chance to take more time to choose your wording and phrasing properly for a more compelling reading material, poetic gracefulness in the writing such as yours, as the sentence: “The Luna café, built in 1926, predates Route 66 and still boasts its original sign and style. Said to be frequented by notorious characters throughout history, such as Al Capone, and to have housed a brothel and casino during the heydays of the Mother Road, you can only imagine what the old bar has seen over the years. If only those walls could talk. But wait - maybe they do. According to several regulars owner Larry (A.K.A. Rooster) is serving up more spirits than those from the bottle.” This way of writing is what truly gripped me. WELL DONE. I now wonder, perhaps I should have used my better writing skills on my Experiences which I have submitted, I have by the way, already been ridiculed on the fact that because I wrote it well then perhaps it was total fantasy. If you scroll through the comments made under some of “Brane the Demon in My Head” experiences, you’ll see these unjustly accusations by some of the readers using to there ‘defense’ that due to good writing skills my story was completely made up. Just wanting to say your story was great and I know its true, also just to let you know that if anyone ridicules you in the same way they did mine due to writing, remember this, it isn’t always the writing skills of education that makes something true of not, it is evidence and commonsense that helps you to draw a conclusion whether something is true or not if you do not first have evidence to satisfy you.
