Nobody has proof that these things to occur, but I do take interest in reading and hearing about them. I dont know weather or not this incident is true but in the case that it is I'd like th put this out there to maybe help explain some things. I have looked around and found that there is a reason that spirits are mainly seen when the power might be going out or certian electrical devices might act up, or durring thunder storms, and that is because spirits, in order to show themselves must feed off of some kind of energy. My thoughts would be that she is there regularly, but remains unseen as she does not intentionally show herself. From reading how she walked through the room as if she didnt know you were there, maybe she didnt know she was dead, and the incident was just a replay of the past that you were able to see because of the heavy thunder storm going on. That is so sad. My parents are older now, and the thought of getting the phone call you dread your whole life is looming over my head all the time. I don't know that I could forgive myself if I had to think about my mom dying by herself looking for her heart medicine. I just hope and pray that the Lord makes her passing gentle. I don't know if I'd call your experience an actual haunt. I don't know that anyone still alive is actually qualified to truly catagorize these anomolies. It could have been just a recording of her last moments that still lingers, like a groove in a record, and she's already with the Lord safe and secure.
