Hi, I have just moved into a new house, which is as freaky. I live in a girls manor, which is where girls board for AC (a school). Anyway, my mother and I have been living here for about a month now and everynight I experience a different thing.
Now, to give you some information about myself, I do not sleep. At all. I have not slept at all in the past week. But I am still not tired. This new place is huge. It houses at least 100 girls plus 6 families who take care of the girls and extra rooms that are empty. It is in those rooms, I think that most of the activity happens.
I was walking down the grade 11 hallway today and there was singing coming from a room that I knew was empty, or at least was supposed to be. I opened the door, kind of against my will, I do stupid things out of curiosity. Anyway, I opened the door and an icy gust of wind, literally, gust, blew out into my face. I felt cold to the bone and backed out of that room so fast I nearly flew.
Later, I went back with my boyfriend and his sister. We opened the door to a perfectly normal temperature and everything. All the windows were closed and locked, which is not an easy feat. We hit it out of there pretty fast and have yet to go back to turn out the light.
In my room, and my boyfriend’s, we have both felt uneasy when we were kissing or even just talking. We avoid our rooms and try to spend the least amount of time in there as possible. Though, when he has to sleep, we have no choice. We both refuse to sleep on the couch.
I was sleeping in his room about a week ago when a black shadow flew past the open door way. That’s the only rule that they have for us. That I can be in his room, but we have to have the door open. Anyway, the black shadow flew past the door. I freaked out, but didn’t want to wake him up so I ventured out alone (stupid things, remember).
As soon as I walked out of the room I was flat on my back. The door had slammed behind me just as a gust of wind scared me. In the act of turning to see the slammed shut door the wind hit me and the combination resulted in me falling flat on my back. Braydon opened the door to me lying on my back and he kind of smirked and picked me up and carried me back to bed.
The next morning I told him about my experiences. He told me that they happen all the time and they have put it out of their minds.
So all in all, I have experienced similar things in my apartment and all around the manor.
What should I do? Ignore it all, or should I ask around to see if others share my experiences?

Ok some things are not clear in this story. This is what I read and what I see wrong:
1. You live in a manor house which is housing for boarding shcool
Why does your mom live there?
2. You live in a girls manor
Why does your boyfriend have a room?
#1. Same goes for numer 2, if you read carefully, you will notice that she said, it used to be a girls manor. It is no longer a girls boarding school.
Talk to others and find out what they have experience then find some history on the manor. When it happens again ask them or he/she what it wants to tell you so then you would know not to do it to upset the ghost. Try to find out who it is and what it wants. Ask it’s name! Use a tape recorder and ask questions and leave it on over night to see if he/she answers your questions that would be exciting to find out. If it tries to hurt you just tell them to leave you alone in the name of Christ and the Love of Christ and you will feel the coldness pass by you fast and be gone for a while at least. You should tell ppl about it bcuz maybe its haunted or just in your mind i expirience those thing to in my house! But my mom alwayz sayz im paranoid.But i knoe that thatz not the reason!Call ppl that work with ghosts. Ummmm. . . . . . . . . . . . Idk what this is for.
why don’t you reseach the manor. there has to be a reson as to why it is no longer a school. and if you feel a sanse of evil say a prayer but i would say gather as much info on the manor and good luck

if you’re not sleeping, get some! not sleeping the brain will cause you to see and hear things that are not there. and yeah do some research of the history on the place. it sounds like its a huge building. thanks for the story.

I have read it 5 times and I don’t see used to. I am very open for someone to prove ot me that I am failing on my reading ability buuut, i even did a search for the word “used” on the whole page and it did not come up. so I still stand by my question. Even if it was used to, why does the boyfriend have a room?
