Me and my mom were shopping at Target. By the time we were done it was nighttime. I usually look out my widow in the car so I can see what we pass. Well my mom was turning the corner to get to the street and I saw a girl covered in wet grass like stuff. We were right by a ditch with the stuff that the girl had on her. She looked about five and it looked like she had long black hair. That was not the first time I had seen something like that.
Before the little girl I saw a shadow man. I used to ride the bus and I was in third grade. We went through this neighborhood and I was looking out the window on the right side. I saw this shadow which was a little taller than the mailbox. I kept looking at him and did not blink. When we got to the house though he was gone but I could still see what he looked like. His hands were like knives, but I did not believe that I really saw him.
Another time when I was sleeping that man was in my dreams. This was a month or two later when I had already forgotten about him. So anyway my mom was in this store putting some things into her area or something like that. I was tired of being in the store so I went outside. Well I was looking around and I saw this man down the hill just walking around. I guess he saw me cause he started going around this tree to go up to the hill. Well I was so scared in the dream that I did not start moving until he was really close to me. So then I started running and I fell. Then I looked back at the man and he had a chainsaw. He cut me once I think and then I woke up. I was so scarred that I did not want to sleep ever again.
About two months ago my mom took me to this store that she had her candles at. She was putting some of the candles up and I got tired of being in the store so I went outside. Well while I was out there I realized that the place looked almost exactly like the place in my dream. I ran to the car and locked my self in. I stayed there for the rest of the trip.
When I was in fifth grade I lived in an apartment. My mom had a box that she wanted to take out in the apartment. Well while she and her boyfriend were unloading the car I was waiting on the sidewalk. I have no idea why but I just wanted to look up. I looked at this tree on the other side of the parking lot. Well there was this girl that was looking down a the ground. She had the same long black hair, a blue sweater that covered her hands and black pants that faded out just above the ground. She walked behind the tree and I never saw her again. She looked about 15 years old.
The same day that I saw the girl by the tree I went to my friend’s house. She lived at the apartments next to mine. It used to be the same apartments but someone else bought the other half. So I was waiting for her to come out and I looked at the electricity shed. I saw a ten year old girl with long black hair, a gray sweater, and black pants that faded at the knee. She ran right on the other side of the shed. Well I looked to see if she was real and I saw a wall where she ran to.
A few months ago my mom had left me alone. She was going to the store and I was in my room playing my computer game. Well as soon has she left I heard the radio in the bathroom start playing. No one was there and I got scared because the bathroom is right next to my room. So finally I went in there and turned it off. After that I went to I went to the kitchen to get a drink. Well we have a wet bar right by the entrance to the kitchen. There is a mirror on the wall by the wet bar. So I got the pitcher out of the fridge and was about to poor it into my glass but then I started hearing this noise. It sounded like nails on a mirror. Well I thought it was one of the dogs scratching the back door. When I went into the living room though my two dogs were laying down in the middle of the room. So then I just tried to forget about it but I had the feeling someone was behind me.
When I was writing this I also felt I was being watched from outside my window, which the blinds were open so I could see outside. I kept thinking that it was the guy from the house and my dream. I also think it is weird because I see him where ever I go. I do not see him everyday though. My friend has also felt that he was watching from outside my mom’s bedroom window.

Im guessing that you had seen three diff girl ghosts cause of the diff ages..You said the first one was 5 the second 15 the third 10..Im not quite sure if i buy this story. just expressing my opinion.

I wrote a couple of comments on this sight that were made into a story. They were about a shadow man (or as I call him the Dark Man). There are a lot of stories of the dark man, dating back as far as history can recall. My story wasn’t exactly like yours, but there are always similarities. On this site alone there are numerous accounts of the shadow man. The one thing I look for in these stories, like in yours, is when the dark man is not some isolated incident or seen as a haunting. Instead I believe he is perhaps a manifestation of the darker side of human nature. Many have said devil or demon, ghost or some other ethereal being, but I believe he exists because we have created him.
I call myself doing research on this guy, and I find that the experiences are varied, but they all share certain characteristics. Recurring Dreams of the Shadow Man is the name of my story and like yours, he appears to me frequently in dreams. He always has. I’ve heard alot of valid analysis of my dreams, but truth is…. I believe in him, and he doesn’t belong there. Mabey your guy is different, but regardless, I’ve found that he can’t touch you unless you let your fear get the better of you. I think he is an angry entity because he knows that we are far more powerful than he is. But, that’s just my outlook. Cool story.

Also, if I saw a young girl that looke dlike she crawled out of a ditch, I would stop and help her. Why did you just watch her? I am guessing that you thought it was a ghost? Poor girl never received help and died of pneumonia. I hope you sleep well at night.

nice story. but even on a ghost website…I don’t know if I can believe this…I mean, a guy with knives, not hands…don’t you think it’s a bit of a cartoon…?

i hav seen a ‘shadow person’ myself while i was drivin at night. I almost drove into a ditch tryin to avoid it..i thot it was man..but seriously..it didn’t have any features..just looked like a blurry silhouette..m not buying this knives stuff..sorry
I have heard that shadow ghost are harmful. I myself was living in a house with a shadow man and this guy was nothing normal. When I was about fourteen , I was sitting on my bed and my brother was sitting on his bed when suddenly a mist started forming on the floor on the doorway. I saw it at the corner of my eye and it looked as if it camd from underneath the floor. It was just a shadow but it was taller than the door way and his hands were long they bended. I screamed and my brother threw a book at it but then there was nothing there. Scary thing though was that that shadow man appeared in the closet many times. One time I saw a black blob shadow like thing too..These shadow ghost are real and scary.
