Ghosts and My Summer Alone

Posted on September 1, 2009

Well my parents went on vacation and I was finally old enough to be left home alone. My parents gave me enough money for two months alone, and also extra money just in case. I also had a job, every day I would wake up, go to work at 8 am, then come home around 7 pm. I was happy I could see how it’s like to live alone for a bit. I was content, but I felt alone, so I invited my new girlfriend over, and this is when the story flips upside down.

One night Vanessa and me were sitting watching TV eating dinner I had just made, and we heard a sound of a baby crying coming from my baby sisters room. She was scared and so I decided to go up and check it out myself, I had walked up stairs opened my sisters door, and looked. there was this one Doll that my mother had bought my sister and told me it creeps her out but she had picked it. So I decided to take out the batteries, which I did and closed the door and went to eating dinner with my lovely girl.

Later that night it went off again, this time I knew I couldn’t go off with out the battery. Vanessa laying next to me told me to get rid of it. In the middle of the night around 3:30 am I had taken it put it in my sisters dirty clothes basket and put it deep in there, and went back to bed.

The next morning I was woken up with a scream and Vanessa throwing the doll across my room. I had to grab her from taking one of my knives in my knife collections, and putting a hole through it. I asked what she was doing with the doll and she said she woke up with it laying right between us!

I took Vanessa home and told her I’ll come by to check on her after work, which I did. We were sitting on the counter talking about what happened that morning at her house and I decided to call my older brother. Surprisingly the same thing had happen to him about 6 years ago when My parents took my sister and me to France, Europe on vacation. He had told me parents about the incident and advise me to do the same. He asked where did I leave the doll, I told him the I had left it in mom and dads bedroom. He then started to get serious, he told me put that doll back in my younger sisters room, close the door, and if the crying goes off ignore it.

I went back home, with Vanessa went up to my parents room. The doll had moved again, from my parents bed to the lazy boy chair in there room. I took the doll, placed it on my sisters bed, and closed the door. It really never made a sound again, My parents came back my sister took the doll with her every where now, Vanessa and me still together, but that doll still gives me the creeps I offer my sister to buy her a new better one but she refuses. Vanessa never wants to be alone in my house again.

True story believe it or not, I don’t stay home by myself either.

    Jamie,
You are so right! Get rid of that thing! Especially if your sister is that attached to it. something is going on with that thing and your sister might be an innocent victim. How old is your sister by the way? Get her SOMETHING else! A dog, cat, bird or even fish, but get rid of that doll!
also, does she talk to the doll?
