Ghost Nurse And A Ghost In An Old Rocking Chair

Ghost Nurse By My Bed
I was one of four brothers who slept in a small room with two bunk beds. In the middle of the night, I woke up and saw a young girl with a nurse’s outfit on (the type Florence Nightingale wore). She was sat at the end of my bed looking down at me. I put my head straight under the blankets and never looked again. Of course not wanting to look a fool I never told anyone, certainly not my Brothers.
15 years or so later we had a ritual pre-Christmas dinner drink at a local pub, all brothers in place along with Dad etc. (just for men kind of thing). We got bored with playing cards so we started talking about anything and everything. The topic of ‘did we believe in Ghosts‘ came up. Before I said a single word my eldest brother came in with a story that was to make my blood run cold.
He’d seen that very same young girl dressed in a nurses outfit sitting on my bed. To say what he said would simply be repeating what I’ve said above. Everything was identical to the time, place, and so on. Needless to say he also chose not to say anything to avoid looking like a fool. Co-incidence or what?

Ghost In The Creaky Chair
When I woke up one night to go to the bathroom and get a glass of water I had to walk past my roommates room to get to the kitchen. My roommate was out with friends so she wasn’t in her room, but when I walked past her room I saw someone sitting in the rocking chair her grandmother gave her before she died. I walked into the room without the light turned on and the person in the chair was a woman, she was smiling and waved at me.
Then I took a closer look at her and noticed I could see straight through her! So I did what any person would do, I screamed and tried to run but couldn’t move! When I screamed her eyes glowed bright yellow like a cat’s in the dark and she gave me the most god awful face. Finally I started crying and screaming, “go away, leave me alone.” She just started laughing like it was a joke, so I screamed at the top of my lungs.
My roommate had just gotten home and she grabbed my shoulders to see if I was ok. Then I screamed even louder not knowing it was her. She turned me around and turned on the light in the kitchen. Panic stricken I fell to my knees and puked. She asked me what was wrong and I told her, but when I turned on the light in her bedroom the rocking chair was cold and the woman was gone.
There have been two more incidents such as this one, but this was the worse ever. Me and my roommate moved into a newly built apartment and sold the rocking chair to her friend. Thanks for reading

Got something to say?
How freaky (and frightening!) It was strange to come across this story, because I was doing research just yesterday on haunted objects. Whether it was the apartment or the rocking chair that was the problem here, I cannot say, but you were smart to rid yourself of both! One of the articles I read said that if you are out shopping (particularly for antiques or other used goods) and you find yourself inexplicably drawn to purchase a certain item, you should walk away, because it could well be the spirit it contains reaching out to you.
Thanks for sharing your story.
Thats a really freaky stroy.
Everyone thinks my school is haunted cause it used to be a hospital before it became a school and the roof floor (or 7th floor) is totaly haunted some people say that when they go up there they see glowing lights, skeltons, and ghosts.
