Ghost Girl Alice

Posted on October 12, 2009

About ten years ago when I had turned eight my mother broke the news that we would be moving to a new house. I was excited to be moving into a new house specially how I wouldn’t have to share a room anymore. Months went by and already many paranormal things went by, but everyone in the neighborhood was use to it.

One day when I was playing hide and seek with the other kids, I wandered into the back alley by myself. Thinking that they were back there I decided to look for them back there. Little did I know that they had taken a break and were back at my house. It was really dark out there and I chickened out.

As I began to walk back a bright glowing light caught my attention. I stared at it for who knows how long. The light then turned into a misty figure forming right below a tree. The figure was of a girl. I walked backwards slowly and then turned around, but to my surprise she was right in my face. She had a warm feeling to her. She was wearing a white dress with pink laces on the sides. Her hair was almost golden colored and it was very curly. She was also very pale. A smile appeared on her face but I ran right through her. I do not know why but at the time I decided not to say anything.

That very same night, I heard a knock on my window and then I guess she came in. I tried my best to ignore her but couldn’t. She asked for my name and I told her then she introduced herself to me as Alice. She begged me to go out and play but I told her it was late and that she should go home. She gave me a sad look and just disappeared. Yes I had realized it was a ghost, but it did not bother me at all. I am use to it now.

A few days later I started school. One day my friend and I were sitting on a bench outside the school bathroom. My other friend went in then walked out. She started telling us about this girl in a dress that was washing her hands as she cried. We went in there to check it out but we didn’t see anyone. We assumed she had gone out the other door. When I went in I saw Alice sitting on the floor. All I said was, “Go home Alice I’m in school.” She went away and that was the last time I ever saw here.

A year later I started 6th grade and had met a girl that had been my neighbor but never talked to. Eventually she began to tell me about a girl with curls in her hair that went by the name of Alice. I told her about my experience and we both freaked out. Around the 8th grade she had told me that an elderly neighbor told her the story of Alice. Apparently Alice had been  murdered in her attic when she was twelve. To our surprise Alice lived in the house right in front of my house. The house was old and abandoned. Alice never visited me again but she still haunts that neighborhood.

    Dear Kitty,
    What an awsome story!
I agree with the others, poor Alice, maybe someone in the neighborhood should
organize a group to get together and assist Alice in getting to the otherside.
There seems to be enough of you who have seen her and know she exsits to achieve
such a mission. If anyone knows a reputable psychic or a priest that would be willing to participate it would be a great thing for Alice, and relief for her wandering spirit.
    Good Luck!
    Thanks for sharing your tale.
