Ghost From My Childhood

Posted on October 24, 2009

Okay, so, I’m gonna tell you my story. First, I’m so sorry for my bad English. I’m not from England or America, so…

This all began when I was a very young child. I was five or six, I can’t remember exactly. Me and my family just moved in a new house, and because we didn’t have enough money to pay a rent for a bigger apartment, we just had one room, a kitchen and a bathroom. In the first months, I don’t remember anything to happen. But one night, it all started.

The wardrobe started to make weird sounds, like someone was kicking it from the inside. I was too young to realize what it could be, but my mother was really scared. Also, my brother asked my mother if he was talking with nobody, and she said he was. And I haven’t mentioned that every night, the wardrobe started to make those sounds at 9:15 PM. Every time. That’s what my mother said. I can’t remember every detail because I was very young.

This nightmare continued for a few months. My mother couldn’t sleep and she always kept a light on. Even though I was young, I knew about the ghosts from the cartoons I was watching that time like Scooby Doo or so. And I asked if it was a ghost, and she said it was. I wasn’t scared, I don’t know why. I wanted to know about the one who lived there before me and my family.

She was a very old lady, who spent her last days of life in pain. She was alone and another old lady was regularly coming to help her. But they had a fight, and the old lady didn’t come anymore. I can’t remember the lady’s name, but I remember that in her last days of life, she couldn’t even more to take a glass of water, and she died in major pain. So I figured out that the ghost was that lady who died there. I didn’t know that I could have asked her to leave, and I don’t know if it was really the old lady or a demon there. Even though I knew about ghosts, I didn’t know about demons.

Once, my mother had enough of this, and she called the bishop, and he blessed the house. From that day on, nothing was heard from that wardrobe. I’m glad everything was okay. Me and my family never had a ghost since then, but who knows if that might happen once again.

I’m sorry my story is short, but I felt like I needed to tell someone who actually believes in ghosts.
